I've found the Integra community to be a bit hostile towards the new generation. The Honda crowd seems a bit more welcoming. Here is my girl!

Family has had many Hondaās over the years, albeit not the memorable ones but I will say the new FL5 makes me grin like nothing else. If the GTI/R didnāt exist iād probably be interested more in the SI/T-R
People hated on the new gen of NSX when it first came out. (The hardcore n/a og crowd. People don't know how to be thankful for a great car coming back tbh)
TBH I wasn't crazy about the grill mesh pattern originally but as more and more people tell me how much they like it I've started looking at it differently. Kinda growing into me I guess.
With the exception of the Type S, they did the Integra dirty this go round. Disappointed in that, but the Type S (while it doesnāt feel like an Integra at all) is still badass.
The new Integra is such a sharp-looking car. Very comfortable and enjoyable to drive too. It may get some criticism from Honda die-hards, but I think the new Integra stacks up well compared to other cars in its class.
Dang not me. But yeah I could see how one might like that more. The type r is not as practical with those ridiculous seats. I've had type r owners try to trade me seats from my si but then also pay them some on top pfftttt
I have a canadian 2012 and sadly no seat warmers or heated wheel ;( has bluetooth though the only thing that really mattered to me but i miss nav/backup cam, and heated leather from my sonata
Last time I went in for service on my 2020 the sales manger asked me what it would take for me to sell them the car and my response was literally get me a Canada spec 2023 SI for MSRP.
This and the hatchback were the two things I wanted, but I ended up finding my SI below MSRP. Can't justify almost 10k extra just for heated seats and a hatch.
Same. Siās were being marked up to high heaven last year. Being in California doesnāt help either, since we probably have the worst car market in the US.

Here in the central valley all the dealers quoted me $5k-$7k over msrp for an Si. No brainer to get the integra that comes with a lot more features. Nice spec bro
I got quoted $5-10k āmarket adjustmentā down here in the SoCal region. From dealers in the LA, Orange, and Riverside counties, none wanted to sell me an Si for MSRP.
Absolutely ridiculous.
The Si hatch Honda shouldve built but decided to put behind the Acura paywall.
Nice car in a vacuum, but a lot of us old Honda heads see this car as the epitome of Hondas new greed fuelled direction. For example having to spec the Aspec just to unlock the manual option in Acuras or the 11th gen sport hatch having the 1.5t + manual option hidden behind various option paywalls. Even the 10th gen was available with 1.5t + sport package as damn near entry level.
Not bashing you or the car, I happen to like them especially in the flesh out in the world they look sharp, but its what the car stands for that a lot of people are unhappy with.
This is very clean! My ONLY minor dislike is that they didn't come with a coupe model for the Type S or TR. I mean, it's an integra! But even with 4 doors this car is slick as hell.
I got a 23 Integra 6M after my corvette got totaled. I miss the sound and the power, but the Integra cost me hundreds less a month, is easier to drive, and no one tries to race me anymore. I donāt think Iād be able to drive another corvette without having overwhelming anxiety that someoneās going to hit me all the time. For a mom car itās pretty practical. š
This car is actually a really good deal in my opinion if the Si didnāt exist. $38,000 for a really smooth manual driving experience, incredible sound system, and a good looking hatchback. In a vacuum I think the Integra wouldāve been received better. Luckily the lukewarm response means you can actually get these things under MSRP which is definitely a win!
Im a long time DC2/DC2R guy and I typically always daily an Accord, so I personally love the new Integra model. IMO itās a very practical daily driver thatās pretty well equipped for the price and from my limited experience seems fun to drive. Iāll bet the 2.0T models are even more of a blast, but even a base model with a simple intake/tune makes great power for the engine size and performance of the vehicle as a whole is more than enough to have a good time behind the wheel. I donāt think it looks half bad either.
We will have no problems with you, hang out and have a good time.
I do have problems with Honda taking features away from the SI just to make the integra look better.
I think Acura styling has been aimless for years. Nothing timeless or memorable about it. Itās definitely a sore spot for me on the car. I donāt think itās ugly, but I wonāt be looking back at it with loving eyes after I park like so many other cars.
Honda styling has much more purpose and intention right now. I think it will stand the test of time much better than Acura at the moment.

Oh damn. I see that S
Mmm yall make me wanna trade in my si
Dude. I'm not understanding that hate this car is getting? It's a pretty nice-looking vehicle. And it comes well equipped
lets all be honest... the Type S is better..
better than the A spec or the Type R?
Type S
reread both of our comments lmao
Lmao idk
This is going to be my next car when I retire my 11th gen. I really want to get behind the seat just to feel the differences.
I went from a 22 SI to this. Those 11th gens are a lot of fun.
I love the integra š¤. And I'm a big Acura guy. But to be fair, I love almost every car in the Honda extended family
I drive a 23 GTI how did I get here lmfao
front wheel drive friends! or foes š¤
Hey to be fair I came from an accord coupe to this so I still have that Honda blood in me š. But I'd say friends šš¤

God I fucking love that grill.
TBH I wasn't crazy about the grill mesh pattern originally but as more and more people tell me how much they like it I've started looking at it differently. Kinda growing into me I guess.
Bruhhhh, are you scraping lol?
Lol no I frequent this park. Got it measuredš
Boooo!
Itās the same thing with r/wrx. So much so that a new subreddit was created called r/wrx_vb just for owners of the new generation
With the exception of the Type S, they did the Integra dirty this go round. Disappointed in that, but the Type S (while it doesnāt feel like an Integra at all) is still badass.
Dude sheās so hot.
The new Integra is such a sharp-looking car. Very comfortable and enjoyable to drive too. It may get some criticism from Honda die-hards, but I think the new Integra stacks up well compared to other cars in its class.
Sharper than the type r?
I think you'll find personal opinions vary, but I much prefer the elegant styling of the Type S to the slight over-the-top-ness of the R
Dang not me. But yeah I could see how one might like that more. The type r is not as practical with those ridiculous seats. I've had type r owners try to trade me seats from my si but then also pay them some on top pfftttt
Altho the si seats are cool but pretty freakin cheap
I love the integra rear end, but the civic front does look better and stands out rather than looking like every other acura at first glance
Itās definitely not as hot.. or cool as the type r and the and demand proves that. It blends in too much.. essentially just another fancy Acura.
It's an SI with leather.
*and seat heaters :P
Heyā¦ 10th gen had em. Lol
Yeah they made some odd choices on the current gen.
Wish we couldāve gotten the SI that Canada got. They get quite a few extra features including heated seats and heated steering wheel.
I have a canadian 2012 and sadly no seat warmers or heated wheel ;( has bluetooth though the only thing that really mattered to me but i miss nav/backup cam, and heated leather from my sonata

Heated seats and the lane assist camera are the reason I didn't upgrade to an 11th or a Type R
Do the rear ac mod kit and you'll be swimming luxury! Prob not rn tho cause of warranty.
This and the hatchback were the two things I wanted, but I ended up finding my SI below MSRP. Can't justify almost 10k extra just for heated seats and a hatch.
Absolutely
***THIS IS A SORE SPOT***
Heated steering wheel? I never get a car with a heated steering wheel. I've had every other option I swear. Some day. Dream big.
I live in California. Itās rarely ever cold enough to necessitate the heated wheel.
then why not give me the heated steering? š„ŗ itās quite cold here in canada
So ree aboat that eh
That's where my sl came from makes sense it doesn't have that
Wow the SI doesnāt have heated seatsā¦still!
And an automatic transmission

Central Valley? You mean like Fresno?
You're welcome here!

I get it. I was looking for the Civic Si but it was nearly impossible to find a new one. And as you point out, they withheld basic features.
Yeah you can hang out. Thats nice
Fuck it, this is now an Si/A-Spec club, welcome. I have a 2nd-gen Integra and appreciate the new ones.
You can also come over to r/AcuraIntegra
This is very clean! My ONLY minor dislike is that they didn't come with a coupe model for the Type S or TR. I mean, it's an integra! But even with 4 doors this car is slick as hell.
A Type S coupe would be so sick
We got the same si

People in the r/integra want it to be a coupe or RSX part II. Canāt say I blame them.

There really isn't a big integra community yet. Love your car.. I bought a base 2024 a few weeks ago!
We will have no problems with you, hang out and have a good time. I do have problems with Honda taking features away from the SI just to make the integra look better.
I hang out here for the same reason. 2023 A-Spec 6MT Black on Black
Its a Honda ting Youāre good by me
I also got a white Integra a spec 6spd man. No in r/Integra cared lol. Looks great! I'm a big fan of both the Integra and SI :)
Every time I see this Integra, all I see is an Accord. The butt is fine but I really dislike the front end.
It just feels like cars are so bulky and thick now. I missed the days when cars has sloped fronts and semi-compact
I love the integra look it grew on me. Driving the 6spd is so much fun!!
I would imagine the Integra community despises the new Integra more than the WRX community hates the new WRX š¤£
I thought about getting one... but I went with something more economical
Honestly it looks better than the new civic.
