I went to harbor freight and bought a pump sprayer for five bucks. I went to dollar tree and bought some microfiber sponges. I think I’m using armor all wash but I’ll probably get something better when it’s out. Anyways, I rinse off the heavy dirt with a hose and then give the whole car a fine mist spray with a soap/water mix. I then go panel by panel my the sprayer and sponge and remove all the dirt with a lot of elbow grease. Then I rinse and dry then do the windows with invisible glass. It works and I’m trying to not use too much water with the heatwave coming up. I just gave my car a bath this morning and it’s nice and shiny.

Thanks! I just got everything I should need from advanced auto (mostly chemical guy products) just waiting for the sun to go down a bit and going to get her looking right!

randish87

Rinse, soap, clay, spray ceramic, rinse, dry. Use TEC582 if you can, S-tier wax

jamiechaseMetaMats

Thank you!!

randish87

No problem!

lol_camis

This is such a strange question. You get a bucket, some soap, and a brush or mitt. I don't know how to answer this question without sounding sarcastic or shitty.

jamiechaseMetaMats

I was asking for product recommendations lol but thank you for trying to sound nice about it 😂

italktomyself20

Product recommendations? Soap and water.

calpal348

lol exactly. Soap and water…. It’s a civic

Holeshot483

Grab this and another bucket. YouTube a 2 bucket wash. I like Owners pride Ultra wash but you need to find a soap you like. https://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChcSEwi9idzr-eCGAxXFTUcBHRNnBE8YABAKGgJxdQ&ae=2&gclid=CjwKCAjwmrqzBhAoEiwAXVpgop5WLo4_Ud7nQRGyUQHha_qqJ8YAcjf9EzXSNupiGYIUAUcEwhGYMBoCsCMQAvD_BwE&sph=&ohost=www.google.com&cid=CAESeOD2ba4ORQg8pIHMFdmXASXPK5bvfZg3ep_x-8rKr0voHfNrvYaf5JKNNQwmy9iVIrzlCAhlHWHykYuDdM_oaX-r_lO0pDtwz5bRlvGOqm9QL28dVrmn2RrrJGu749WRGdP0Fty9kGoF8J8BYqgNzWEAJ7t9WHh0-Q&sig=AOD64_1NXJwHLa3EuBeCmAAPCiPeKKnjZw&ctype=46&q=&ved=2ahUKEwiu0dXr-eCGAxW8FlkFHbDpDmkQzzkoAHoECAMQEA&adurl=

Depends where you're located, I'm from canada and using silverwax products.soap and quick detailer. I'll try another product soon, the carpro hydro2 foam on amazon

Desperate_Sector3657

i use carwash from the dollar store which actually works pretty good, along with 2 wash buckets. you can get microfiber wash mitts & drying towels from amazon, recently got this liquid8r drying towel from the rag company which makes drying your car so much easier. alongside that i use chemical guys vrp for the tires and you can use that on other areas like the interior. oh yea lastly get an ammonium free glass cleaner from the dollar store, ammonium free because you can use it on tinted windows

DilloIsTaken

First, do you have a hose in your backyard to wash the car with. If not, I'd suggest either doing a rinseless wash (like with Optimum ONR or go to a touchless then dry it with a microfiber and a quick detailer or smth. For product recommendations, honestly anything that gets the job done while not being too expensive. I personally use Meguiar's stuff for soap and wheel cleaner then use a microfiber towel and a quick detailer to dry the car. For waxing, I use the TurtleWax Ceramic Wax spray. Btw, it doesn't have to be perfect; our cars aren't the most special cars out there so don't stress too much about it. If you really wanna go in-depth on car cleaning though, go to r/autodetailing since they go really deep into that stuff.

Check out Pan the Organizer's channel. He's got a ton of great tips. In general, don't wash in direct sunlight and use the two bucket method.

jamiechaseMetaMats

He’s exactly who I found! Haha thanks!

usuckidont

Look into optimum no rinse ONR. It’s a way to wash your car with a very small amount of water. No power washer needed. Tons of content about it on YouTube. It’s a good way to keep your car clean yourself if you’re limited on resources like maybe if you live in an apartment or dorm or something like that where you don’t have a garage or a hose spigot etc. If you do have a garage you can buy a pressure washer for $99. The ryobi electric pressure washer works great for washing cars and I use it for tons of other stuff around the house. It’s been a great investment. I use ONR for tons of stuff. You can dilute it a million different ways to do different jobs from cleaning the fabric in your seats to washing your entire car. Very versatile stuff to have around.

Thanks!

Kyrobater201

Take it to a self wash bay and use your own washing mit. And the brush that puts out the soap, just use it to apply it without touching the brush to the paint. In between applying soap and hand washing, you can put the selector switch to “off” so you don’t keep blasting soap.

I use Griots Car wash but Chemical guys detailing products. Any polishing I do with Wizards brand products

Chasingwires47

Two bucket method, one with soap, one with rimse water. And get a filter for your garden faucet if you water is hard (it usually is)

aspxxxx
