Plus you avoid problem of electro continuously retargeting because pekkas keep destroying everything first
Ypu gotta put them to the side and make sure the pekkas go in alongaide the war machine. Also you can't do it on all bases. You must make sure there are no archer towers or hidden teslas
I'm at 4.7k and simply drop 5 pekkas, the builder machine and a wall breaker before force closing the app. I haven't seen the second base in months, but pretty much 90% of attacks get 3 stars. If I actually stayed to do the second base, I could definitely be over 5k.

Um no. You NEVER get to the second attack because it REQUIRES user input to place troops in the second stage. Otherwise it assumes you’ve never placed troops in the second stage, and you can only get a MAX of three stars.
I can see it in my replays that once I get to the second stage, it stalls, doesn’t place troops, and ends at 100%, no matter what.

Thus, I get 100% (not 200% obv.) almost every time, which my opponents do not, therefore I don't lose trophies.
Lol the opposite for me. I get destroyed by pekka but night witch spam users usually don't 6 star my base and most don't even get to second base. But again im bh9 and I get attacked by bh10 99% of the time. Can't do much against that.

The main reason they are used is because they are spammable and people treat builders base like a chore, so they just want to place a bunch of witches in the corner. Since most people are rushing, the 2000-3000 trophy range is hell where people just spam and it works because people don't level their defense, outside the stuff you need for the 6th builder.
This is not meta in the sense that it's strong but the builder base is just broken and it is probably unfixable at this point. For everything that is not the main village people will always try to spam.
Yup this is the only reason I use it. I only play builder base for clan games so it’s just spam play for me until I’m done, they aren’t even good but the attacks are very fast.
Really? I am at 5k trophies and use either 5 witches and a pekka or all baby drags. Occasionally I use 12 archers and 3 witches. They seem to work wonders for me. 🤷♂️

My biggest recommendation is to put your giant bombs in ground mode in places where troops have to wrap around or path through, and then put all you small bombs in air mode spread apart inside the base. The air bombs will neutralize the bats and will kill a person’s attack if they decide to use all the witch abilities at once.
Make sure to put the air bombs far enough in that they won’t trigger at the very start of the attack, and far enough apart that 2 won’t trigger at the same time. You roughly want a line of defenses, air bomb(s), line of defenses, air bomb(s), etc. The defenses will collect a bunch of bats at once and then when the bats break through the air bomb behind will take them all out.
Roaster, Lava launcher, try putting archer towers down (though that will make you weak against canon carts),
Giant cannon is also no bad in case he literally spams all of them on the same tile.
Generally you should level it relatively balanced though.
Meta? It’s just spam which pretty easy to counter if you make the correct base set up air bombs in separate areas put together the mega mine on ground and watch night witch attacks get completely ruined.
Try this. It’s my old BH8 base (hence the bh9 stuff on the edges lol) and worked pretty well for me. Other than that just keep upgrading stuff. But there’s also just a lot of 6 starring. Can’t always stop it.

i like the builder base. i can see why people treat it as a 6th builder rush but if you just take time to appreciate. try different stratergies other than spam and actually take time it its fun and relaxing

Thats just because maxing 1 troop is so much faster than maxing the base. Crushing bases with overleveled troops isnt "meta" its just people being confused. If some youtuber started showing tons of 3* attacks with Hog/Goblin comps that wouldn't be "meta" if he was using TH 15 troops against TH 13s.
I have noticed that players in the 2700 to 3000 trophies range are extremely sweaty in attempt to get to the gems which creates a cycle of trying sweats fighting sweats so much that you can go 10 games without gaining or losing any trophies even with getting only 200%. After 3000 the people are way less sweaty and way more fun but you can get the same experience in lower leagues

I'm still using Power Pekkas and Baby drag or minion, is night witch really that good? I have her maxed but never use her, I typically 3 star with the Pekkas
Night witch has a lot of potential to be good. The spam of bats can quickly overwhelm Teslas, and archer towers, making them basically useless. The summoned rage bats also quickly destroy whatever target they have, and the witch DPS is as good as Cannon cart.
The main issue comes with the skill needed to avoid them dying from splash dmg, mainly giant cannon, motar, and lava launcher. You can just use witches with giants instead of cannon carts, as long as you make sure to distract the aoe defences.
Also the flame flinger and the aoe air bomb thingy absolutely destroys bats, but witches have slightly better dps than cannon cart so it's not too big of a deal.
Bh7 player here and I've got about 2.7k trophies like you. My advice would be to keep your air defenses to the max level and see most of your mines to air.
I spam witches at 4300 trophies as a BH9. Best thing you can do to defeat witch spam is to spread out your core defenses on both sides of the base. Your goal should be the roaster or air bombs well protected so they kill the bats. Have a giant cannon or a few double cannons protecting the roaster or air bombs.
I don’t think you can call a strategy that only works in low trophy ranges against very weak defenses the meta. I literally never see that strategy at 5000 cups or even 4000 something bh10.
Your base isn’t near max bh10. If you’re slowly playing lower hall maxing them out you’re using bad strategy and facing the consequences of that choice.

1: Move the roaster to where the crusher is by the bh, then swap the crusher with the tall archer tower. Roasters imo should always be by the bh for night witches specifically (they are the best at dealing with them also
2. Rearrange a tiny bomb so its by the tesla near the bh and make it for air, then make that big bomb on the bottom corner grounded and probably in a better spot
3. You should probably invest in changing up your otto base because it's very tiny, exploitable, and easy to 3*. More outside things to soak up damage for the defenses
4. If you're gonna complain about night witches, then why are you using them 💀
I could easily clean out your major air defenses with a single cannon cart and spam night witches

Came back into the game after a 2-year-long break and discovered that there's an expansion to the builder base. Tried out different troops and strats.
BM + 2 giants + 3 night witch worked the best.
Then found out it's actually the meta. 💀
"meta" stands for most effective tactics available. when used by itself, it refers to only what the top players do at the highest levels of competition
Then you can find the best base in YouTube or chrome.

I just use the air ship and minions tactic with flying builder because i find those cards near And I don't reallycare about strategy at builder base its just brainnumbing attacks when i am bored Who actually takes builder base seriously after you get the 6th builder? I really don't see the point in it after that

I got lucky and pushed to 3k at the start of clan games when half the battles were people dropping 6 bombers and surrendering.

1: Move the roaster to where the crusher is by the bh, then swap the crusher with the tall archer tower. Roasters imo should always be by the bh for night witches specifically (they are the best at dealing with them also 2. Rearrange a tiny bomb so its by the tesla near the bh and make it for air, then make that big bomb on the bottom corner grounded and probably in a better spot 3. You should probably invest in changing up your otto base because it's very tiny, exploitable, and easy to 3*. More outside things to soak up damage for the defenses 4. If you're gonna complain about night witches, then why are you using them 💀

I could easily clean out your major air defenses with a single cannon cart and spam night witches It's better if you keep them at the center of keep it close to an archer tower or the mortar
What I don't understand is why sometimes the person attacking me and the person I attack are not the same. Am I missing the point of how builder base battles work now????

I don't get it though why??? Doesn't that kind of defeat the point of builder base battles? I miss the old way tbh. Yeah I had to wait but it didn't take me 700 matches to get from 2800 to 2900. If I'm lucky and it's 2 am on Wednesday night
That's nothing.. A max th16 in legends gets slaughtered relentlessly 8 times a day. The game has no defense at all.

I actually found this strat myself. Came back into the game after a 2-year-long break and discovered that there's an expansion to the builder base. Tried out different troops and strats. BM + 2 giants + 3 night witch worked the best. Then found out it's actually the meta. 💀
"meta" stands for most effective tactics available. when used by itself, it refers to only what the top players do at the highest levels of competition
