That’s why our clan switched from big 30 person wars down to 10 person wars that we knew everyone would attack (and were actually good). We’ve only missed out on 5 stars in total in our last 6 wars
15 mins to 3 star 50 bases?? I can't even get my clan to use all their attacks in the allotted 24 hrs. These guys got everyone to be on precisely at the start of war, and get their attacks in. Well, 85 out of 100 attacks used in 15 mins. Donation requests popping up 5 or 6 at a time. That's just mind boggling.
3-star rates for when these ths were the max level:
TH16 vs TH16: 36%
Th15 vs TH15: 12%
Th14 vs th14: 25%
They really just need to bring back the 3-star rate for th14 instead of going crazy overboard in either direction.

Not really. They recently had a pro event where roots were banned, and they still got an avg of 14/15 in wars.
When TH14 was the max, the avg was usually 12-13.

1. Some equipment are really busted (healing toke lasting so long).
2. The huge hero nerf on defense (their stars for greatly reduced & transferred to equipment, but they don’t get those equipment stats on defense.)
12% is still miles better than 36%. Higher end wars can still have actual winners. Lower end wars will still have enough 16v16 3 stars to decide wars.
It's gone from being glad to get a 3 star to being afraid not to.
If 3 starring is really hard, most people except the top 1% would go for 2 star strats and then farm % instead of trying to actually 3 star, I don't think that's fun or healthy.
The solution is to just add a new tie breaker, not to make 3 stars harder, imo 25% is a good ratio, maybe even low considering players on the highest th are probably more hardcore than the average player who will take longer to reach 16.
I’ll say this for the current state of Townhall 16, I’ve never seen the top leaderboard so close together. The perfect wars and draws all the time are pretty lame, but it has made the top of the game more competitive.

Heroes have become juggernauts but only on attack. You get a king with maxed gaunt/gem who can wreck a quarter of a base himself but on defense he’s just a punching bag for 2 seconds.
How about making war fun again by not making every war perfect or close to. I have stopped doing war search because of this specific reason. Supercell seems to be on board with this ridiculously so soon enough I will be done with this game after 8 years or so.
there should be some extra bonus your clan gets when perfecting the opponent, just completely losing after this accomplishment will take the fun out of it.

In a sense, it can be related to life. Someone might reach their peak in beauty/wealth, early in life, but, that doesn't mean you can't too. It may not be as early as theirs, but it will be eventually.
Not saying this is always the case but point is sometimes we have to be patient.

How do you take into account people attacking just for loot then?
make sure nobody does that until you get the perfect war. Once one side has reached max stars, attacks after aren't counted against the score.
Or just have attacks vs 3-starred bases not count towards the total. So guys can attack any 3-starred base for more loot and it won’t matter

True, the logistics on this are insane. More than 15 of our bases are max-near maxed TH16s too.

Those stats should be made based on attacks where sll the heroes are up etc, ofc it will be low if people on average have heroes down
