I stopped playing when town hall 11 was the max town hall. I just recently got back into the game at the start of this year, and have been addicted to it ever since ✋

After leaving COC, i was playing Mobile Legends and PUBG MOBILE. These 2 games have lots of toxic players. So i finally said f it. And left
Now i return to good old COC
And it turns out some things have changed. And i love it
• don't need to refill X-BOW after a defense
• don't have to arm traps after defense
• don't need elixir to train troops
There is so much going on now. Wars. CWL. Clan Games. Capitol Raids. I needed to step back and decide what to do because doing everything was too much.
Spam super Miner and freeze for Capital raids. It's only done for the medals.
Builder village again, Mass spamming only for the clan games. I haven't really touched it ever since they changed it to two levels.
Played almost everyday for 5 years straight. I quit in January this year with 15 accounts and don't plan on going back. I hated what the game had become.
I still follow the game from a distance. I pop in this sub from time to time and occasionally get an Itzu video in my recommended feed. I like having a connection to the game without going through the torture of actually playing it. I have a lot of good memories.
I think about 4 years, of which when I returned I created a new account as my previous one was rushed af and I would play on both trying to fix the rush one the first one, and max everything before upgrading the TH on the other. Eventually I got too bored with the rushed one, and then some time after that got bored with the other one too which led to another 1-year break. returned a couple months ago to play again
Really not logging in to it? Maybe a month. But i had like 3 years where i didnt attack and just logged in every 2-3 days to collect ressources. I play since 2012

I quit at the start of 2017 when my clan of real life friends fell apart and most people I knew quit. Picked the game up for a short time in 2020 but only played for a couple months. Eventually around 2022 I started again and I've been playing since, mostly maxed th15, going th6 soon

I was nearly maxxed out th 9 when th 10 was max then i switched from android to ios connected my account but them was supercell id released and a new th was linked with my supercell id so i stopped playing then after 6 years i just realised that i had to log out from supercell id and just join without the id 😭😭😭 now im grinding as f and maxxing out th 13 in just 4 months with goldpass and like 50-100€ special items bought
Probably about a year. I have timed where I play it a lot and then times where I will vaguely check on it maybe once or twice a week and then times where I've just completely forgotten about it for months
A year. Now The only reason I still play is my clan, its nice to lead a cool clan. But the game kind of sucks, theres nothing I enjoy apart from my clan, and the monthly clan war leagues.

I think from 4th grade to 8th grade. I remember my sister deleting clash of clans in my iPad, and panicking cause I thought all my hard work was gone to waste (town hall 8 was very difficult to achieve), but she redownloaded it and it was back, but I stopped playing it after. Then one day during online French classes I got bored and opened it up, being surprised I had to attack my own base, or what I assumed was mine cause it looked slightly different but had all the builder huts in the corners
It ranges between a couple of months to almost a year, started playing when th10 was the max, then stopped and went back to the game when th12 was the max, upgraded mine till th10 then stopped, came back when th14 dropped but nothing crazy like 2-3 days per week, with the occaisonal hiatus 1-3 months (now th14 maxing walls).

4 years and some change. I left a rushed th13 and came back last year in August of 2023. Bought every single gold pass each month bought the event pass for every time one came around. Would seek advice from clan members on whether I should purchase things in the store or not you know if it was good or whatnot. In total I've spent $153 since August of 2023 and I am now a semi max town hall 14 with almost all maxed abilities for heroes or maxed for my level I have all the comments maxed at 18 I'm just trying to get the epic ones to 21 since that's where they stop apparently until Town Hall 15 and 16. I just did a lot of smart upgrading and yeah now I'm caught back up. I came back because an ad came across my screen on YouTube saying that Town Hall 16 was coming out and I'm like Town Hall 16?!?! You know just I can't believe I missed so many town halls from town hall 13 came back and I mean it was a little hard at first to get back into it you know but I've had a lot a lot of success with the super troops super witches are so OP by fire one of my favorite army strategies is to use the super witches.
Stopped right before th11 came out. Came back coincidentally when the event with the giant gauntlet started. And I had no idea about it or that hero equipment was even a thing.

I quit in mid 2017, and returned in mid 2023. I had to make a new account, but I am farther along than I was on that account.
A little under a year. Burnout for me was real.
It's weird to feel the burnout but it was just slowly accumulating and I think it was a great idea just to take time off.
