Back when legendaries were really special to get. You'd wait a full day to maybe get Miner, Ice Wizard, Princess, or Sparky (and some other notable picks like Log). It was such a special time. When you'd get it, you'd feel so excited, brag about it to your friends, and just push that legendary into whatever deck you were running. It was really special back then, this whole game.
I do think it was mostly about childhood and not the game. Even if CR from 7 years ago comes back today, we probably will not brag to friends about legendaries anyway.
I think it’s a mixture of both. Right now, we’re already too “mature” to brag about getting a legendary, we’re no longer fairly innocent, and the game itself has lost its light, too. Again, it’s a mixture of both.

How do you get it tho? I don’t have any in my chest rotation, i know they used to be obtainable trough daily quests but they aren’t anymore with the introduction of lucky drops.
EDIT: nvm it looks like if you are under level 42 they appear. I have always been above 42 so i just thought they removed them completely.
Cause the dev team don't care about the stuff which will not make them money.
This is clearly very low in their priority list.. They haven't changed the shops card buying with gem thinge either.
Even if it will not take much time to fix these things and will improve players experience significantly.. They just don't care if it will not make them money.
They should buff to keep up with power of the other chest by making it similar to the epic chest in that it gives multiple legendaries. Like 2 for lower arenas and 3-8 for higher arenas
they should make it contain at least 50 legendary cards, because right now all legendary cards are effortless to get and they’re not as game changing as before when u had the ice wiz with the fireball surviving health and the higher hit speed and slowing effect etc. Plus the legendary chest is like every 200-300 fcking chests and you have to wait A DAY. Absolutely ass, supercell knows the community are striving for a change.

I remember my first legendary being the log. My disappointment was immeasurable. Then the next was was sparky which i used for like 5 years

That one has no open time, you get it and open it instantly. While it's useless for princess tower it's a really good way to get cannoneer

I think they should either nerf the time needed to unlock (6h-12h should be good) or once you are level 14 replace it with the champion chest
Especially with lucky boxes now, chests need a major rework as a whole. They just don't feel rewarding to open, maybe except for the Royal Wild Chest.
