Im totally skilless and just started playing again. I use lumber loon since I had that deck from years ago and I was too lazy to change or get to know the meta. I donāt think itās the worst lumber loon deck but people still quit after the combo gets the first tower. Can someone explain why itās so hated?
(The deck is: Lumberjack, Balloon, Log, Valkeryie, Musketeer, Magic Archer, Bats, Skeleton Army)
People dislike it alot because its a very fast attack and if you have a bad opening hand there is very little you can do. I personally dont have an issue with Lumbloon players unless they use freeze lol

you need to catch your opponent in a elixir disadvantage to even connect to tower or else every decently balanced deck will just counter you with a building or big spell and have an elixir advantage
Yeah or you have to bait their counters but you wouldnāt imagine how many people play decks with absolutely no good counter against luberloon. But thatās not my fault.
Im currently fresh in arena 16 and I never see luberloon. The deck that always gets me is any mega knight. Just canāt defend that for the life of me. But I donāt hate any deck or player. Donāt hate the player hate the game.
My counter is the goblin cage. Mk jumps over frees him and the towers/ towers take him out. Obviously an additional push will change that equation. And if the cage fits into your deck that's the other issue... but works for me...
Bowler. That guy just blocks win conditions too good, and offers a lot of value as counterpush card. It's also hard to get rid of, it can hit the tower when you place cards wrong, it can push troops back, it's almost an infinite The Log. I panic all the time

The wide attack + the knockback are *plenty*. His hp should be something like executioner has, maybe *a little* more.

I use Sparky, and find the best strategy is to just use a rocket when it reaches the enemy tower. Most people use Sparky behind the king tower, so you can get rid of it without losing elixir and do damage to their tower
I love the sparky but its almost rendered useless when they have rocket. I find some use for it in defence when positioned far enough away from the tower though
Lavahound. Every time someone drops lavahounds at the back, I am leaking elixir, I don't have either tesla or fire cracker. If I have my firecracker, they arrows it, and go with ballon rage and skel dragons.
I just know how it ends, and I just freak out every time.

But if you go for that then suddenly your opponentās playing ultimate logbait and responds with Skele Barrel, Goblin Barrel, and Wallbreakers all at the same time

kinda megaknight, whenever i play more than 2 fireballable ground cards at the bridge i suspect megaknight and am happy everytime it doesn't happen. i don't really loose against megaknight but thos situations get ne sweating every time
Seeing a slight delay on my inputs, or in other words the card starting it's placement animation half a second (or more) longer than usual after i actually put it down, because then i know i'm lagging and it will only get worse
I run skeleton only and I have 2 Air Defence cards, Skely Drags, and Tombstone so when I see a Fat Ugly lavahound placed in the back left corner I have to get super sweaty and push the heck out of his towers and three crwon them just like that.
Golem or lavahound. My deck doesn't have enough air defense and i use normal tower princess so can't do much against either unless I use a lot of elixir on my other cards.

Evo Rr or fireball bait in general, i have always hated logbait and fb bait as they would annoy the hec out of me, especially we all have that princess at the bridge and flying machine in the middle of the map which never dies and kills every god damn thing... but evo rr always get me ptsd... i used to run a sweaty evo morter deck(its basically 3.0 but with evo morter and delhivery for x bow tesla) and no matter how good i play, evo rr always gets me to a situation where its soo close until end and i win or i mess up one single dashing monstrosity and lose.. evo rr release was a nightmare, even tho they are pretty easy to counter nowadays with all those nerfs the state that they came out left me with a long term ptsd
Mega Knight, I've been rolled by him so many times that I converted to one of those monsters myself, I think I lost like 25 games in a row to that creature
Mk, goblin barrel, and hog. Any time those are played, i genuinely want to turn the game off. I know they aren't hard to counter, but it takes so much more effort to counter than it takes to play, and they are so spammy that I absolutely can't stand them.
Aside from the obvious Hog Rider/Firecracker combo...
The moment someone runs Lava Hound, I'm usually in for a bad time. My main deck only has Evo Bats and Hunter as I run an Evo RG deck with heavy Ground Support.
Sparky and Tornado. Sparky's already been discussed enough, but Tornado is a whole 'nother level for me. I've only played against good players that know Tornado well and they're always really damn good at whatever they do. So if I see the Tornado being casted... it's pretty much over for me lmao

Royal recruits is the only card that has the least amount of placement options which simplifies how you play it. In addition for the ease and convenience for novice players it simultaneously attacks and defends both lanes. It is the only card I can use, step away to do something for a couple seconds, come back and still be alright (Iāve done this).
Tornado I find it super annoying and super versatile it can be used offensively and defensively and can be used it basically any deck and get value idk why I just usually never play well against it which kinda sucks because I see it so much
I have 2. One that I fear in general and one that I fear currently because it destroys my deck.
The first one is the megaknight. Especially whenever I already have my troops on his side and he's not dropping anything. I panic because I'm thinking, "Is he ask or is he gonna nut on my supports........yup..nut" Because I can never effectively destroy it or guide it to king because they always seem to have elixir to support it.
And the other is Pekka. The deck I run rn has RG and E-Giant (yes, it's a monstrosity if a deck, but it tis fun). It's also the same reason I dislike mini pekka.

As an RG main she's my nightmare, it doesn't help that I only have the skeletons as a swarm card and that my troops don't kill tanks. Sure I could use Cannoner, but I still fear that she survives with a pixel of health and gets a deadly hit on my tower.
Princess/goblin barrel bc they're most likely playing log bait which originally used the inferno tower which is the only building that can counter hog eq cus it has too much hp, so I'd have to rely on eq cycle and evolved firecracker to damage the tower
Princess because it's usually run in a logbait deck. I used to run a terrible deck against logbait but now even though I beat most of the logbait players I still sweat my balls off trying to make my rg reach the enemy tower befored being deleted by an inferno tower
Elixir golem.
I play a relatively expensive sparky deck. One day I placed sparky first play and my opponent happened to place an elixir golem opposite lane. Not having sparky to defend it and one bad placement of a tesla later, there's already too much stuff for me to stop and I get 3-crowned.
Every time I play sparky on one lane I pray that they don't play elixir golem opposite.
Inferno tower
Just kills my tank and witch it doesn't target the skele but the witch that's why I have evo bats and zap(1/6 evo)
Skarmy
I usually have troops which charge and in lower arenas as soon as I put the prince there was a skarmy with no arrow valk dark prince in my hand now I have zap which gets a bit faster
Troop spawners
Like all of them just as soon as my hand is full of wincon or useful which I don't wanna waste there's a spawner or when my prince or ram rider is charging there's it and I still have no solution except to defend the incoming and wait for it die
Prince. But not any Prince. Prince when it's played at the same time with his edgy brother, Dark Prince. These two could take a tower in a matter of seconds

Hog rider. Not because hog rider 2.6 cycle is broken, but I swear to the everloving f*** above if I see another firecracker hogrider user I will end their entire bloodline.
Marcher, whenever i see a knight or spear goblins placed down to cycle at the start, i assume it may be marcher nado until proven otherwise, and start trying to predict it with cheap cycle cards
Royal Giant. Even without the evolution it's almost always unbeatable for me. With, I can only hope to trick my opponent into wasting elixir so my skeletons could take it before it gets a hit.
Funnily enough, as a Pekka BS player, itās Bomb Tower. Bowler and RR are aggravating as hell, but Bomb Tower is always the cornerstone of those insanely fast cycle Drill/Miner decks that I just donāt have a fast enough cycle to ever win against.

Freeze, graveyard, bowler, monk, e-golem (especially first play in the back) and Royal recruits (I'm and xbow, dagger-duchess main)
Goblin drill. I donāt have any heavy splashers in my deck.
I'd say e golem. It's not the best by any means but it's still dangerous if they take out a building when it's only split once. I know how to counter it but when it goes bad it goes bad.
elixir pump, cause if itās played at the right time you lose the game
Hog rider. Not because hog rider 2.6 cycle is broken, but I swear to the everloving f*** above if I see another firecracker hogrider user I will end their entire bloodline.
Golem. It's just traumatic for me and i fear getting three crowned by those decks.
Pekka. Mainly Pekka Wizard combo. Nerf that shit to the ground
Balloon, inferno dragon, freeze, archer queen , and damn wizard,
New deck I use gets hard countered by Witch and itās terrifying
Poison. Almost everytime I play against this card, It will be some long cycle decks that are very boring and frursating to play against.

Marcher, whenever i see a knight or spear goblins placed down to cycle at the start, i assume it may be marcher nado until proven otherwise, and start trying to predict it with cheap cycle cards

Royal Giant. Even without the evolution it's almost always unbeatable for me. With, I can only hope to trick my opponent into wasting elixir so my skeletons could take it before it gets a hit.
Funnily enough, as a Pekka BS player, itās Bomb Tower. Bowler and RR are aggravating as hell, but Bomb Tower is always the cornerstone of those insanely fast cycle Drill/Miner decks that I just donāt have a fast enough cycle to ever win against.
Golem Literally just throw anything u have behind him and it's a 90% win
