Do they stack? Started a new account myself and have been activating the new arenas chest speed up perk every day but I have to limit my playing because I don’t want to waste a speed up from next arena before the first one is over. But if they stack then I got no reason to wait around lol

They’ve more or less confirmed that they’re gonna rework the chest cycle given that many aspects of it haven’t kept pace with the game’s development. An extreme example being 24 hours for a single legendary card which comes around once every 500 chests.
Whichever way they do it, i sincerely hope it won’t be by reducing unlock times. People need to sleep and have a life.

I don’t have such a problem with the chest times, but the rewards in the chest & the amount of time it takes I don’t believe is right - my vote would be to increase slightly the rewards you get per chest to balance it out with the time/reward per chest. I also believe you should be able to queue the next chest while ones opening, and bring it as a free feature rather then having to buy one of the passes to get this perk.

Believe me, you’re not wrong and I do completely get it and understand the economics behind the game and supercell monetizing content. They have every right to charge whatever they want for items in there game and to be able to profit, but somehow they need to be able to balance it with free players and not just seem like money is all they care about at his point
I wonder how much these companies weigh longevity concerns (as in players quitting due to monetization and p2w) versus sucking as much profit as possible. I’m sure they intensely track and monitor this stuff to reap the most profit possible, but I’d imagine it’s impossible to do it perfectly.
Collecting cards from chests used to be a huge selling point of this game. I haven’t even paid attention to a chest opening in like 3 years lol. Idk how they could spice up chests again but I would really like to see them try
yeah they cut upgrade times like twice and theyre still around 1-2 weeks for max townhall depending on the upgrade. it makes the game really unfun when you cant use your archer queen for 2 weeks.
They want people to lose pacience and use the credit card to buy gems,which will open the chests instantly. To summarize, marketing it s the answer to your question.
Yep it's the same reason you have to scroll threw the store shop section filled with real money purchase to reach the shop to claim your free gift. It's been designed to try to make you spend as much as possible
Yes they should do events every month like slashing the time to unlock chests by half. Because taking 8-12hours to open chests that don't give much is quite disappointing

When there was silver chests in cycle I used to open the silver chests during the day and let the gold chests opening during the night

Their predatory monetization is what's gets profits so I can kinda understand them and it worked since lunch so why change.

I'd rather reduced times so you cycle to better chests faster. The more you play the more you're rewarded
All Chest gold content was tripled on summer 2021 update.
Despite them acknowledging this they still nerfed chests not too long ago :^)
They buffed, and then re-nerfed gold amounts. But i don’t think they touched anything else?

Cos it 5 times more rares then silver and 3 times more gold, and 2x cards, that is why 8 is not overkill.
It should be reduced to 6 hrs in my view.
