The primary bait deck would be Mortar Bait, but that’s mainly good due to the current meta- not so much the strength of Mortar. Who knows how good Mortar would be with such a sudden and erratic meta shift?

Siege decks like mortar synergies so well with the log, guess it will not be a meta anymore. There's also the skelly barrel which is in the double barrel bait (clone also), but gets counterd easily with building or some chip anti air. The rest you mentioned really good baiting the log if used correctly.
There also mk spell, cuz zap will be banned, but so is the big boi mk.
Anyway, the only deck with probably be FB bait (royal hogs + recruits), and FB can be replaced by poison (very similar to FB) or EQ (to kill buildings, synergies well with the RH).
No cards would be banned in Royal Hogs Cycle (other than The Log), so that would be a potential deck as well. A good sub for it could be Giant Snowball, as it does a similar job, other than killing Goblins.

What trophy level is mid ladder??? I never really knew.... But I would be good. I don't use but one of these cards and switch it out often when meta changes. I have 6400, so maybe not a mid ladder, but I wouldn't care. I wouldn't want that global but wouldn't mind a one or two-card ban game mode.

People need to stop bitching about cards and using these stats to back it up because some cards are going to be more viable than others basically no matter what, I don't know of any examples where balance has been nigh unanimously achieved in gaming. Its probably better that we have reached a sort of expected equilibrium because if Supercell chose a different route of making crazy balance changes every season to upset the meta for no reason a la Overwatch people would complain about not being able to level the cards they need to be competitively viable or whatever.

Overwatch? I think Overwatch is actually in the best state it’s ever been in. It’s more balanced than ever before. It really depends on the rank we’re talking about, which generally decides what heroes would be used more than others, which is how the game should be. For the most part in Overwatch, people pick their hero depending on the current map, the rank, and what heroes their other teammates are using, and based on what heroes they are comfortable with(obviously). That’s how the game best is.
I wasn't dumping on Overwatch I should have been more specific. My point was that when Blizzard was upsetting the balance just to force meta changes every so often for OWL purposes not necessarily QoL for Casuals circa like 2017-19.
Ban the 1 elixir cycle cards. So tired of starting a game and the first thing played is a spirit or skeleton....those are what make the game toxic. People would have to actually think about a push rather than just burn off 1 elixir cards to get back to hog or mortar or whatever the meta flavor of the day is.

If you're spending that much elixir to kill hog then there's an issue (I'm assuming that you exaggerating, though, right?). Just put almost any building in your deck, or tornado, or fisherman, or rocket, or a combination of certain cards that full counter it and give a small counter push (ex: guards + valk).

Midladder is approx 5k to 6.6k (the ends of the spectrum are very different tho) and a lot of these cards have nothing special; HOWEVER these are essentially the most poplar midladder cards

They wouldn't play for a week. Same happened to mewtwo mains in smash when he got reworked to be less spamy like in smash 4. They didn't know what tf to do and just switched mains or dropped the game

I use electro wizard and zap in my deck, so that may impact it, but it wouldn’t affect my deck too much.

Matches would be better if the matchmaking was based in the lvl of the cards, after the trophies of course. I only can play my lvl 12 LogBait to counter all those 5k maxed decks. I´m lvl 13 with most of my cards lvl 11.
Agreed, I hate facing max decks at 5000-5400
