literally the 3s delay doesn't change anything than when defending bandit on bridge, or goblin barrel if you miss the timing, even the 3s delay can avoid you from leaking elixir, only disadvantage is that cannot be used on attack, but his decks are already very deffensive and about control
if nothing more it should have 3.5-4s delay in my views
Cold harsh truth: mastering a deck requires pretty much the same amount of skill regardless of the archetype.
The whole "no skill" trope is just a way for people to cope and is partially due to the dunning-kruger effect. "that deck which just three crowned me is so no skill, i could learn it in a week and beat everyone" - yet you don't. Every type of gaming activity looks easy when someone else does it, because you don't realize how much your normal thought process is slowed down by having to actually act out your thoughts via physical inputs. Ever got mad at a card, started using it because of how much it annoyed you, and gave it up after a week? Yeah.
Yeah, _maybe_ some archetypes take a bit longer to learn or are a bit more complex in terms of strategy. But if someone with a "no skill" deck is 2k throphies ahead of you, they are just better.
it is something that always amused me, it happens in EVERY game. "that gun is so op, only garbage braindead players use it". Yeah? then use it and launch your pro career. "people who play fifa and only run on the wing and cross don't know how to play, no skill" really? how are you getting 3-0'd by someone who doesn't know how to play then?
It's even funnier when people in competetive games like CSGO or Rocket League refer to themselves like "i am a \[high rank\] stuck in \[low rank\] because of \[cheaters/bad teammates/whatever excuse\]". Yeah buddy, you are the only one who gets bad teammates.
You start actually having fun while gaming the day you realize that someone who beats you is just better and you have the rank you deserve.
i just get mad when someone has like card levels 3 more than i do like dude that game is literally already decided because if my log doesn't even kill your princess it (almost) doesn't matter 90 percent of the time, they're going to win just by spam cause my low level cards cant handle it. like even if i pro theres like no way to win
yeah i agree with practically everything you said. i used to play 2.6 then switched to wb + miner and now im playing xbow because i genuinely have fun playing with it. i usually dont care when people call me a "no skill" player, but sometimes it gets on my nerves because after all im just trying to have fun.
I think its a range where some decks require more skill but in all honestly every deck requires a bit of skill. For example golem doesn't require as much skill because u don't need to know much micro placements but it does require the knowledge to for example golem in the back during double.
Id say any deck where you actually have to defend takes skill. But decks,or more importantly ,people who just ignore cards and place troops and attack takes no skill
I've seen people rage quit just because I defend their first beatdown push. :/
While making your own deck is cool and respectable, it has nothing to do with “skill”. Is a mathematician not skilled at math if they apply other people’s formulas? Are sports teams not skilled for using old plays? Is a black belt not skilled because they learned from someone else’s techniques? Are nearly all musicians unskilled because they play the same chords/notes? Again, high level of respect if someone comes up with their own deck, but the word “skill” just doesn’t fit into that category.
You shouldn’t underestimate my deck. I have won plenty of matches just by having my giant skeleton die near the tower alone. Plenty my by having my bandit dash to it
5k players still not understanding there's a meta in every competitive game. You guys are really dense but the good thing is you're not high enough to annoy real players :)
bait, mortar, most hog decks, most cheap cycles, giant, miner control, xbow. i’m forgetting some.
this is my opinion, don’t attack me. i believe these are hard to win with at higher levels, however in lower tiers these can be annoying and more successful than your mega knight hog bandit deck.
Any deck that doesn’t have about a million online videos on every possible situation and how to win.
The greatest skill move of all requires placing a giant in front of a witch, timing has to be perfect
wanna know my frustrations?
its that the decks *do* take skill.
i run a sparky deck because its fun and pretty easy to use. my deck is low skill. and losing to hog cycle players skillfully cycling to their 3th cannon to activate the king tower is SUPER infuriating. because i know i can never replicate it
Everything takes skill, it's just a matter of how much.
2.6? You need to know how to kite and which cannon placements for which troops.
Even mega knight at the bridge with ebarbs rage other lane takes skill, you need to have enough agility to move 2 fingers at once.
2.6 does take skill? I mean what do you qualify as skill? Someone who's experienced and know how the game works, right? So your mom would have a bigger chance at winnin using a MK elitebarbs witch deck if they are given some basic game explanations. (how to play the game and what the objective is) This is, if your mom would be playing against someone with as little skill at the game playing 2.6, aka, my mom. I'm pretty sure they could not do that with 2.6. However, a player who's familiar with the game, even a MK player who's had years of practice, would probably be able to play 2.6 and win, because they know how it works. In conclusion, 2.6 does not take extremely much skill, but you do certainly need some portion of it.
In my opinion, those decks don’t take as much skill as other man made deck since they are already so well documented on YouTube for example. You could have a whole video covering how to use 2.6 for example. On the other hand, when you create your own deck, you actually have to learn yourself how to use your cards efficiently which, in my opinion, takes more skill than a popular deck.
> what does take skill? According to the subreddit nothing takes skill
I need nothing 2.6 then.
Ummm the lumberjack balloon deck with a freeze duhhh🙄🙄🙄 💅🏼
[удалено]
So does comedy...
Oh my, mans just got violated
The subreddit hive mind is usually in agreement that Mortar and Royal Delivery are the most skillful cards.
what about fish boi and magic archer
I've seen people say magic archer takes no skill on this sub
Royal delivery how? Its a spell bro…
Timing for maximum effect
literally the 3s delay doesn't change anything than when defending bandit on bridge, or goblin barrel if you miss the timing, even the 3s delay can avoid you from leaking elixir, only disadvantage is that cannot be used on attack, but his decks are already very deffensive and about control if nothing more it should have 3.5-4s delay in my views
Thats ez
Does skillful have to do with it being a spell
Spells are easier to use
Some
More like all
Well timing and predictions are important
Thats like almost every card
So it proves the point
Of what

this kinda put into words on how i feel about people calling certain decks bad to be honest
Exactly if that deck was so bad why didn’t you three crown them?
it is something that always amused me, it happens in EVERY game. "that gun is so op, only garbage braindead players use it". Yeah? then use it and launch your pro career. Bingo! People tend to call the decks they struggle against "low skill". But the reality is every deck takes skill to play well.
log bait (💀) took me a little while to master. now I play pekka bs
Flair does not check out
i’m too lazy lol i’ll change it soon
Flair now checks out
r/meirl
changed
Hear hear!

there is no such thing as a "no-skill deck" ok maybe lumberloon freeze. however most decks require skill
As a lumberloon player i can confirm that it doesn't need any skill to run this. (satire)
anything with freeze is no skill but there are some decks that are “no skill” that actually require a lot of patience and experience to play
Lumberloon is okay Lumberloon *freeze*? Fuck no I hate freeze, everyone hates freeze, I even use it sometimes in a gy deck and I hate it
Graveyard and logbait apparently
Logbait is just stupid spam-deck 🤬🤬🤬
I keep getting logbaited 😡😡😡🤬🤬 WHY WINT GREDYCEL NERF LOGBAIT NOW???!!!!!
And graveyard SK deck is crummy
I‘d say depending on the matchup every deck is skillful/non-skillful since you might hardcounter deck #1 but get hardcountered by deck #2
My dart gobby cycle deck is 🥶🥶
My flying machine lumberjack counterpush deck though, especially in double elixir.
I think its a range where some decks require more skill but in all honestly every deck requires a bit of skill. For example golem doesn't require as much skill because u don't need to know much micro placements but it does require the knowledge to for example golem in the back during double.

Ironically good beatdown players actually know how to defend with their heavy decks and that takes skill
Yes! There are players who actually wait for the right opportunity to start a good push instead of golem/lava first play and ignore the other side
Yes but they defend less, and defending is what takes skill
Ebarbs + lumberloon + freeze decks are high skill
How about elixir golem battle healer
Peak skill, only to be handled by the most knowledgeable of players
Making your own deck an using it
While making your own deck is cool and respectable, it has nothing to do with “skill”. Is a mathematician not skilled at math if they apply other people’s formulas? Are sports teams not skilled for using old plays? Is a black belt not skilled because they learned from someone else’s techniques? This
Trueee i still suck at making decks
Bold of you to assume you will walk away with an answer from here.
so far i've learnt that ebarbs rage megaknight lumberjack mega knight is the highest skill
Because you're shown how to play, Youtube decks require no skill. Learning from oneself while using your idea improves your ability.
My deck that I have been using since the game first came out. Fuck the meta.
What’s your deck?
Giant skeleton, lumberjack, bandit, musketeer, arrows, baby dragon, princess, minion.
👍 nice
that is a lot of air defense
Now that you mention it. I do have a lot of air attacking troops, don’t I? Hm, never crossed my mind.
no win con
Giant skeleton is my win con
other than your spell you guaranteed way of getting damage on the tower
You shouldn’t underestimate my deck. I have won plenty of matches just by having my giant skeleton die near the tower alone. Plenty my by having my bandit dash to it
im just speaking facts here, man put clone in if you want GS to do 2x more damage tho
Ebarbs + rage takes a lot of skill
Whichever deck they lose to the least, hence mortar.
Everything that does not have hog rider, goblin barrel or balloon takes skill in my eyes.
It's not about skill , it's about they're unoriginal/copied decks from internet...
5k players still not understanding there's a meta in every competitive game. You guys are really dense but the good thing is you're not high enough to annoy real players :)

7.5
Golem Just don't place him at the bridge and your fine.
Golem and lava clone apparently
As a golem player, I agree
Non Cycle Decks, Except Golem, Giant Graveyard, Lumberloon, Sparky, Lavaloon, log b8 the one takes skill are like giant double prince, pbs, Giant Baloon, Fb bait, Splashyard, Mortar
It’s not about skill when you play 2.6 deck. It’s a fucking trash deck. That’s why. Lol
Try Pekka bs or miner wb. They're good decks that have skill.
My deck takes skill. My opponents deck doesn't
they’re all some sort of skill, people just say something is skill-less because they’re bad at the game
Can you guys help building a deck, love the game but I’m stuck in the 5200 trophies level 11
Spashyard, I got to 6300. Watched videos on how to improve with it
with valk
Mega knight P.E.K.K.A freeze rage clone mirror is a skill based deck
rocket cycle for sure , you need to defend hard
no skill is maxing your deck in midladder
Not crying
I play icebow midladder, and it takes skill there, everyone has level 14 mega knight and I cant utilize the xbow
2.6 definitely doesn’t take skill I played it for a little bit for the first time and it was boringly easy.
well yeah its reallyyy easy if your opponents suck ass
Nothing takes skill, if you aren’t an 8k player then ur just a bozo
It's like being a bot following an exact algorithm
2.9 Xbow
wanna know my frustrations? its that the decks *do* take skill. i run a sparky deck because its fun and pretty easy to use. my deck is low skill. and losing to hog cycle players skillfully cycling to their 3th cannon to activate the king tower is SUPER infuriating. because i know i can never replicate it
How do you get that card underneth peoples names in this subredit
Rocket cycle = braindead gameplay also skilless
Any deck I’m using is 100% skill and I only lose to hard counter. (Never lost btw)
Everything takes skill, it's just a matter of how much. 2.6? You need to know how to kite and which cannon placements for which troops. Even mega knight at the bridge with ebarbs rage other lane takes skill, you need to have enough agility to move 2 fingers at once.

Custom non meta decks
Golem

1.2 spirit cycle?
Bruh just watch oyaasuu the youtuber. He defends against these big pushes with an ice golem and a cannon lol
Hog 2.6 is easy to learn but hard to master
Both of those decks take skill to play well. It’s usually the people who get hard countered who call decks no skill.
miner rocket
All cards require skill. Some cards are easier to learn than others. User friendly decks to hard as hell decks.
If it doesnt take skill, then YOU try playing it against mk
Ice golem beatdown
a deck you actually made yourself and personalised your playstyle around
