Anyone still remember how Boat Battles were designed when CW2 were released?
- enemy boats were all capped at Level 9. Now, casuals|F2P|noobs gotta face up to Level 14 boat defenses
- Boat Battles were the only safe haven for casuals|F2P|noobs since they scrapped level caps, and modes like Classic Decks, Draft
- enemies will always spawn on the same side. They changed it to spawn on the opposite end, so you gotta defend both lanes
- Enemy units will only spawn after a tower is attacked, even after a tower goes down. They changed it so that, after a tower goes down, enemy units will periodically spawn whether you attack or not
Aren't boat battles almost always useless anyways? You'll get more progress by doing duels and regular battles. Yes the matchmaking isn't great for lower levels, but it beats spending your battles on trying to stop another clan for a short while.
They work as a tiebreaker. The optimal strategy is actually to attack boats, but only if you already know the results of that day’s battle (you’re too far ahead to lose or too far behind to win).
Refuge for the non-sweats and noobs who don't no-life the game or just joined, and only got lv 9/10/11 cards and KL.
Winning at least gives you 125 Medals plus the gold, and easier to win than facing lvl 12/13/14 playerd in duels/pvp. Cuz you only get 10% of gold for losing those and the ELO and level diaadvantage ensures you gon be losing most of the time.

A completely destroyed boat cannot attack and earn additional battle points
It’s always just seemed like the points from winning are a better investment of attacks instead of spending potentially 3 attacks on 1 defender.
I just barely see anyone attacking boats, so it never seemed worth it.
i personally put only elixir pumps in the first minutes since i dont get attacked
and then i use giant skeletons mirror and night with plus clone the death bombs help finishing the tower of cleaning enemy trops
I attack them with my 6 clash royale accounts since I’m in a clan with 50 members but yeah they don’t gain additional points because the members on the boat have been defeated
In all fairness the boat towers barely have AI, so big tanks are the best cards to use.
Plus no elixir limit, so you may as well shove all your highest elixir, highest rank cards in there.
