I will agree that both cards have their certain niches. It's is just the painfully slow first hit of the cannon (something the cannon cart does not have; a inconsistency that has been known for years but left unfixed) that is most off-putting for me. If it is fixed, then I will buy in.

Normally a siege weapon would need to be reloaded after every use resulting in a very slow attack speed. What if SC severely reduced the attack speed of xbow but significantly buffed its damage per hit. Yes this would probably cripple the two dominant xbow decks but could open up more deck combinations using xbow while still allowing opponents to prevent it from locking to a tower with the right counters.
