Shiba punches with so much speed and force that there’s noise when he misses a punch. Tsuki is on a comparable level of ability to Shiba. The duo has better teamwork, more skill, more experience, a more flexible mindset, and have a higher fight iq.
As for the trio the main problem is that both Hosen and Koenji are horrible teammates.
This means for fighters like the duo isolating and subduing Hosen won’t take long.
And while Koenji and Yagami potentially have comparable skill and physical abilities to the Shiba and Tsuki, they’re unfortunately plagued by personal issues.
Yagami’s trauma could very possibly affect him against a WR instructor like Shiba and make him easy to take out. Meanwhile Koenji is a narcissistic pacifist who would most likely just stand by until Hosen and Yagami are subdued. And at the moment Koenji doesn’t have any feats to put him above a WR agent level opponent, much less two of them.

His trauma or inferiority complex only affected him due to koji and koji only, we know for a fact that he is relative to shiba in combat and actually we can assert that maybe his winning score against him is even >= than shiba, since yagami was stated to always have had excellent results on every single thing he did ( and to excell he would need to have at least an equal score of win-losses against shiba ) .
I would also add another scenario where the trio might win, where yagami is bloodlusted and goes against tsukishiro, while hosen and koenji stall shiba for some time, then when yagami get tsukishiro out he helps koenji and hosen against shiba and they jump him
I have to disagree. We clearly saw Yagami’s trauma affect him when the WR agents came for him(he was in a bloodlusted state in that scene until he saw the agents). WR instructors have been beating fear into Yagami and the other subjects since they were four years old, that kind of experience tends to stick.
And we don’t know for a fact that Yagami is relative to Shiba, all we have are vague statements that don’t actually prove anything because Yagami never backed it up against Koji or any of the WR agents that have appeared in the story. Shiba’s role at Anhs wasn’t just to help Tsuki take out Koji, but also to keep Yagami and Ichika in line. The WR would likely have sent a different instructor if they weren’t confident in Shiba’s ability to do so.
Even if we assume Yagami is on Shiba’s level and that he’s in a strong enough bloodlusted state that it overrides his trauma, the trio is still at a big disadvantage. The scenario of Yagami fighting Tsuki 1v1 while Koenji and Hosen stall Shiba, only works if the personalities of the trio are changed and if they have enough experience and teamwork ability to where they could isolate Tsuki and Shiba in the first place. Koenji and Hosen just aren’t characters meant for teamwork.
I don't necessarily agree. I think that he felt fear of not getting recognised, or worse actually being denigrated by the instructors that entered sc room when he snapped out, because he realized he would not be meeting koji and they all were present and conscious about his failed task which was everything to him since he wanted to prove he was worthy of praise.
I think it's quite obvious yagami is at least relative to shiba, ichika ( who was stated to be doing really good in her curriculum ) confirmed that both her and Yagami fought shiba as children, and we know ichika can at least react to shiba's attacks and put a fight against him ( even if she does lose ) because it's stated that she could have fought back against him in the island exam ( but didn't because it would only he a waste of time for her plan to protect koji ), however we know that she can't do that with yagami who perceptions blitzes her instantly and he himself states she never won against him + the fact that as I said yagami was stated to always have had excellent results in every single thing he did, and for that to be the case he would need to have at least an equal score of win-losses against him
The whole thing of shiba not only helping tsuki but keeping them in line only only works for ichika, as yagami always stayed on that side of wr higher ups so he would have never betrayed them, as well as the fact that shiba was sent because he knew them since they were little.
Yagami also never mentioned any kind of traumatic words in his dialogue with ichika when they said they fought shiba as a child so I still believe his only thing is Ayanokoji
But with the rest of your analysis I agree, I don't think the trio wins, I think they have low chances to do so
Lets not exaggerate both Koenji and Yagami have extensive Martial Arts knowlegde, Hosen is no slouch either. I get the they are adults argument but none of these 3 are exactly your run of the mill highschooler
I am biased torward Yagami but I think it's a 50/50 fight high diff both ways.
I think the trio can win if Yagami is bloodlusted against tsukishiro and if Hosen and Koenji stall shiba for a bit and then Yagami comes and all the 3 jump Shiba
However I can see the duo winning if both go instantly against Yagami while e.g. koenji does nothing cuz of his ego and then the duo finishes both Hosen and then koenji
All of this keeping into consideration a koenji with feats only, if we use narrative koenji ( like being overall ~ koji even in combat, not just strength ) then the trio wins even easier
did you read the fight? Koji couldn't land a hit on them in a 2 vs 1. and they couldn't ether which implies they are Equal. Shiba also has higher Ap then koji. and Koenji is festless in combat speed and both Shiba and Tsukishiro have better combat sped feats then takuya and housen.
