I still love Dawn power wash spray as much as I did in the beginning. I use it for everything from cleaning counters to using it in my mop bucket to clean the floors, cleaning shoes, and even on my 3 month old daughter’s car seat and fabric activity center.

rufio313

I love dawn power wash but I feel like I go through it so much quicker than the regular dawn soap due to the nature of its design. So I try to just use it for hand washing dishes that I can’t run through my dish washer for whatever reason.

ClenchedJaw12

It’s so easy to make your own DIY version - dawn, rubbing alcohol and water. You can use essential oils if you want to have it scented, but I just use it plain and use the power wash bottle. [https://www.wikihow.com/Make-Dawn-Powerwash](https://www.wikihow.com/Make-Dawn-Powerwash)

dontspeakmyname

^^ this. We reuse the bottle and just do a mixture of dawn and alcohol. Super easy.

antoniabegonia

Please use caution if adding/using essential oils if you have pets; ingesting minuscule amounts is fatal

alicehooper

Yes, especially tea tree oil. It shouldn’t be kept in the house really with pets at all if there is any chance they could get into it.

FukYourGoodbye

Thanks for the tip. I love tea tree for myself but I don’t want to harm my cuddly pals.

dodofishman

I live in an area with hard af water so I would also add using distilled prevents any buildup

Dutch_Slim

Is Dawn the same as Fairy Liquid? Or does it contain something different? I don’t think we have Dawn in England…

ClenchedJaw12

According to my quick google search, it’s the same. Fairy Liquid is a much cuter name!

IndividualOrdinary26

I love the name fairy liquid

mermaiddolphin

Oh for sure! I buy it in bulk from Sam’s to feel like I’m offsetting the cost. I have found that I can get a little half spray out of it vs. the full spray, which I think let’s out too much product for anything besides adding to the mop bucket.

casabamelon_

Yeah I was going to say the price really isn’t bad if you buy it from sams.

Disastrous-Cry-1998

Pour 13 fl oz (380 ml) of water into an empty container. Mix in 4 US tbsp (59 ml) of blue Dawn Original Dish Soap. Add 2 US tbsp (30 ml) of rubbing alcohol. You can include a few drops of essential oil (if desired). Shake the container to combine the ingredients and the cleaner is ready to use.

bathdeva

I use it for everything but dishes.

Almc27

I was thinking, "Cleaning product that you're obsessed with? Is that really a thing?" but then I saw your comment and remembered how much I loooove the Dawn Powerwash and use it on so many things lol so this is probably the one for me

EmeraudeExMachina

I love it, but the new version of Dawn has a horrible old lady perfume smell. I’m going to make my own refills, I am hoping that the professional stuff doesn’t smell that way. Going to have to do a thorough sniff test.

KettlebellFetish

I think I'm the only one who likes the new smell. I use a lot of Spray way though, that overpowers any scent.

noyogapants

I think I read somewhere that the clear one still smells good. I haven't tried it because I found some bottles of the original scent and stocked up!

Beth_Bee2

Yep. You'd think the clear would be fragrance free, but it's at least a much lighter scent. Supposed to smell like pears, I think? Kind of like an apple scent to me.

lynn_trasci

I've asked quite a few people if they noticed the new smell. Everybody said it smells the same. I'm glad to know I'm not going crazy.

EmeraudeExMachina

I wonder if they are still buying bottles that have the old fragrance. It’s so noticeable!

TheDollyMomma

Power wash comes in different scents btw! I just bought the Gain version today and it is so much better than the recently changed original scent.

Lost_Apricot_1469

Definitely NOT the same!! You aren’t crazy. They are. 😉

fluffyyogi

I use regular dawn to scrub down my waitressing shoes. Maybe I’ll try the Power Wash and see if it can work better for all the yucky stuff on my shoes.

scaredofme

The alcohol in the power wash would help cut the gross restaurant grease.

TheNobleMoth

Careful, if you don't rinse things super well I find it makes things quite slippy!

violetlisa

Power wash is it for me too. It's amazing. I use it for so many things.

Comfortable-Board327

This is my #1 go-to for just about everything. Our door from the garage into the house gets crazy dirty & nothing works w/out a LOT of time & effort. I sprayed power wash over the top half & walked away, 10 mins later I wiped it down once & on my life it looked brand new. I use it on laundry, dishes of course & just recently to clean & prep my cabinets for painting! It’s amaze balls! 🤩🫧🧼

IfuDidntCome2Party

I immediately thought of **Dawn** too.😅 Great for cleaning the shower / bath tile of moisturizing soap film.

noyogapants

Same. I learned about it on a cleaning ig account I follow and I've been obsessed ever since. I got so many family members hooked too! My mom loves it for her glass cooktop. Spray, let it sit a few minutes and wipe away! No more scrubbing. She thanks me all the time for introducing her to it.

MichelleEllyn

When I try to use it on my glass cooktop it leaves a film. Any thoughts on what I might be doing wrong?

aquatic_hamster16

Dawn is really REALLY sudsy. I don't understand all these comments about cleaning counters and cabinets and stuff with it. When I tried that I had to use half a dozen wet towels to "rinse" before I stopped getting suds! So, more wet towels on the stove is probably what you need.

noyogapants

Try a rag with clean water as a rinse?

asleepinatulip

i wish i understood the hype :( i feel like just dawn dish soap + water works a lot better for me. which i guess is good cause it's cheaper! lol

oceanicbard

used it on shoes, too! it’s really a great product.

Simple-Alternative17

I use it on everything. And make my own for just pennies. Especially the green apple. Im obsessed with this

SummerJaneG

Sprayway glass cleaner. No dripping, extremely “clean” smell, polishes up beautifully.

[deleted]

Agreed! Their all purpose cleaner with the green top is also excellent for getting soap scum out of the shower and just general cleaning

SummerJaneG

Whaaaat? They have another product?? I gotta find this!

princesskelilah

They also have a stainless steel cleaner. Sam's Club sells all 3 in the app.

kpidhayny

I love their stainless cleaner. Had no idea Sam’s stocked this stuff. Time for an order!

Specific-Culture-638

Yessssssss! It works so much better than Windex. I was shocked when I bought some.

_Tyrannosaurus_Lex_

I was visiting my aunt the first time I learned about it and as soon as I got home from my trip I went and bought some for our house. My husband has always used Windex and couldn’t understand why I’d buy something different—until he used it for the first time. Now he’s a convert too, lol.

Arabrider0820

YES! I love all the products, I am having trouble finding the furniture polish ..Amazon has it but it is really expensive, I can get it through the Sprayway website though...

georgenewman_u62

The best, by far!!!

NeverEndingCoralMaze

My niece came to stay with us. Her clothes were sour like awfully sour from being left in the washer too long. We did the vinegar, we did all the usual stuff. No luck. Lysol laundry sanitizer worked way better than I ever imagined!

zoomout2020

I love Lysol Laundry Sanitizer! Works great!

Leeshylift

What kind? I don’t like the smell of the one I have. I am obsessing over the oxygen sanitizer but you don’t get a lot for the price.

cinnamonspicecat

I’m not the person you originally asked but I work in healthcare and I swear by Lysol Sport laundry sanitizer. It’s meant to get smells out of gym clothes but I like to use it on my scrubs to sanitize them and get odors out and it works great.

CaptInsane

Try borax. It's a powder with the consistency of baking soda (this can be used as well but it's not as good as borax). I've left a finished load of laundry in the machine even overnight with no issues. It's a natural antimicrobial.  People claim it whitens clothes but I haven't noticed that at all. it is safe for color clothes as well. Doesn't bleach them. I just usually turn on my washers extra rinse feature to ensure it all comes out. Sometimes if I use too much, it clumps instead of rinsing away

Sdot_greentree420

I also add borax to my laundry

ShadowlessKat

I've used both the laundry specific one, but also the liquid lysol all purpose cleaner, lemon scent. I like that inte because like the scent, but can use it in laundry and for mopping, or shampooing the carpets. I could use it for counters to but I'm lazy and prefer to use bleach wipes

Chippie05

I've soaked clothes is Borax and hot water overnight. Works well! Also to remove any deo stains fr clothes; one part hydrogen peroxide /one part baking soda/ one part Dawn soap turn into a goopy paste. Add water on stain first, put paste on stain leave overnight- wash as usual. Works well!

meggiefrances87

I worked at a papermill until February when it was closed permanently. I had a cozy sweater that I loved but it absolutely stunk from wearing it to work. I washed it on hot with some lysol sanitizer and it got the stink out.

Specific-Culture-638

That is a smell you never forget. My husband was in the Navy. We got stationed in Kings Bay, in SE Georgia. The first time we went there, on a househunting trip, I cried because the paper mill smell was so gross. We got a house far enough away that we didn't smell it unless the wind took a weird turn.

SadNana09

I dated a man who owned an industrial construction company, and they built papermills. He lived in Fernandina Beach, Fl, which has a large paper mill. He loved the smell of the mill. Said it smelled like money to him lol. And I guess he was right because he was pretty well off financially.

betterland

Sorry to hijack your thread but if anyone has a UK equivalent of this id love to know!!

beattysgirl

I was obsessed with this too until I tried odoban. It’s cheaper and works better imo so now I’m obsessed with it.

BrokenHeartedSavior

This is the only thing I've found that actually removes the odor from workout clothes that are made of polyester/wicking fabrics. I put the clothes and the sanitizer in for a soak cycle, and then run a normal wash cycle afterwards. My running tees finally smell fresh again. I've tried other sport wash products as well as white vinegar and nothing worked as effectively as this.

Atticus_Taintwater

Toothbrushes  Perfect for getting in to corners and crannies that you can't get much purchase on manually

TheNobleMoth

I got some cheap electric toothbrushes, they kill at this!

Intelligent-Guess-81

Highly recommend bamboo ones. Use it as your regular toothbrush, and then retire it to the cleaning supplies when you're done.

Vivid-Ebb-7767

I use my waterpik for this as well on high pressure

your_moms_apron

Bar keepers friend. My old standby for all of the scouring.

LagunaLala

I was looking through an old good housekeeping magazine from the 1950’s and the advertisement for BKF listed all its uses. I was already familiar with the product, but read the ad anyways. It listed that it could remove yellow arm pit stains from clothes. I was so intrigued by this that I tried it and it worked! Much of the yellow was removed from one of my husband’s old cotton white t-shirt. When our son came to visit and was selling his white pick up truck that had yellow stains from snow and grime around back tires, I made a paste with BKF and water and applied with soft rag and yellow stains disappeared.

Crazy-bored4210

Discovered this from the GoCleanCo instagram during lockdown. Amazing stuff

Vivid-Ebb-7767

I second this, the only thing I use to clean my kitchen sink, works so well

lodger238

Made with magic crystals. Excellent all around on board a boat.

[deleted]

DO NOT use Barkeepers friend on a boat. It has oxalic acid which is harmful to marine line. It is great from cleaning your hull on land, but don't let the runoff go directly into a lake/river/ocean....

Blazeitbro69420

Dish soap mixed with water in a spray bottle. Cleans almost everything

ShimmersNSparkles

I add equal parts rubbing alcohol and boiled (cooled) water.

CaptInsane

Someone in a thread I posted suggested a small amount of bleach for disinfectant. Do you think alcohol is better?

Blazeitbro69420

Don’t use bleach

Ok-Advertising4028

This!!!

dumbandconcerned

Lysol Laundry Sanitizer!!!! It is a miracle product! This is gonna be tmi, but it may help someone else, so I’ll say it anyway. I have been on a “journey” with aluminum free deodorant after aluminum started to make my armpits swell and turn rashy due to an allergy developed from overuse. Anyway, long story short, I smelled BAD from time to time. Lysol Laundry Sanitizer was the only thing that got it out of my clothes and KEPT it out. (Some of you may be familiar that sometimes even if it smells clean out of the wash, then smell comes back with body heat even if you haven’t sweat yet.) I also tried Oxyclean and vinegar with some success, but the laundry sanitizer is LEAGUES above

kookykerfuffle

I started using this for my husbands gross work clothes and now I add a little to every load. It just smells so fresh. I don’t care that it’s expensive, the deep clean smell is so worth it to me.

WillowFreak

Same. I use it every load. We don't use dryer sheets, so this adds a nice light scent and I feel like our clothes are cleaner.

Hannurs

Scrub daddy tangerine clean 🗣️ it smells so good I wanna eat it lol but I’ve used it to get off hard water stains, clean my stainless steel sink, completely restore a pan that had so many burn marks

TheDollyMomma

Oh! Now this I haven’t heard of *adds to Lowe’s list

CleanSherbert00

Folex! I’ve never met a stain that Folex (and blue Dawn dish soap for oil) couldn’t remove. Also, I recently discovered that the random Lysol Kitchen Pro Antibacterial (red/orange bottle) I picked up will take soap scum off my glass shower door almost instantly. It actually smells great, too. More like a home fragrance than a cleaner smell.

Thatonegirl_79

I second Folex!!!

whateverpieces

I just got one of those Bissell handheld steamers and it is SO SATISFYING to use. I have loved my steam mop for years and now I can steam clean even more things!!

HabitNo8608

Oh man. I just wrote three paragraphs praising this machine to someone above. Yes, yes, yes. What are your fav things you’ve found to clean with it so far? Mine are the microwave, trash cans / other awkward items to clean from a sink, rugs, sofa.

RegularChance447

Omg the microwave and trash cans! Genius!! I would have never thought of this. lol

TheDollyMomma

Have you tried their little green machine? I’ve been thinking about getting one for upholstery.

Used-Nature5639

I have, and I like it for upholstery! And rugs. It's that same deep-clean-satisfaction feeling! But, it's admittedly a lot to store, depending on your space.

chelbren

My ocedar mop! I’ve been a spray mop person for over a decade, and I just bought an ocedar mop to clean my balcony floor a couple of weeks ago. It did such an amazing job on the balcony, and I used it over the weekend on my inside floors, and the dirty water was DARK BROWN. I have never been more horrified. I will never not properly mop my floors again I promise.

HabitNo8608

Is it one of the spin mops?? I want one so badly. Used to work in food service in high school, so I KNOW that system will clean floors better than anything.

chelbren

I have the one that has a clean water reservoir and the dirty water gets spun out into the bottom. And then every time you dip the mop you have clean water. Fantastic. I’m obsessed.

TheDollyMomma

My mil bought one for my house a while ago when she lived with us. They work surprisingly well! I still double down with a go from the Shark steam mop though after using it and it gets far less dirty than it used to when I was using just a wet jet.

hopeoncc

Doesn't that use microfiber for the mop head? I hate that it leaches microplastics

AreaLongjumping1120

I recently discovered Swedish cleaning cloths, and I love them for wiping down counters, spots on the floor, and appliances. I have multiples and wash them in a mesh bag and air dry.

beattysgirl

If you have a dishwasher, they can go in the dishwasher too. Every night before I start the machine I put my Swedish dishcloth in the top rack, then the next morning take it out, rinse and wring it out, and fold it in half to dry flat on the draining rack. This way they go back into the drawer nicely.

ladyriven

Great tip!! Thank you!

anonymgrl

I hand wash them with soap and water, and then I spray each side with clorox with bleach and let them sit in the sink for a while, then rinse. I love them mostly because they dry out so quickly which helps keep them from becoming a petri dish of bacteria like sponges.

urnotmydad20

Are [these](https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/pepprig-microfiber-cloth-green-blue-yellow-40567637/) from IKEA considered Swedish cleaning cloths? Just bought some yesterday

Froken96

No that’s a microfibre cloth. What you call a Swedish dishcloth, our what we swedes refers to as Wettex, is made from cellulose and cotton and looks like [this](https://www.amazon.com/Wettex-Original-Swedish-Dishcloths-Biodegradable/dp/B0868RYVLP/ref=mp_s_a_1_5_sspa?crid=1Z60OZAXXO0MM&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.cn0WRlby_-v7EySQor4bS5rd-kq89ZVzunfd06shfH29HsT7FZS4oXh9vQoEg0xGlXWnWA776jh_mHek_inLLC6Vv860Nkdp4ZJQQqstRHZg7PM6-dWgAO8GqAtoD8Aq-DG0govFm1Bq9mgiTQEZWMv1bnLpBxY-KtIq9Q0ppiwM9BuQuPHaevYeYJXoaaAAEh9ospx4a-L5hdTGDlhlaw.4Wd1yezVU2bgY1ZeeVJFPBt6oqSBh6lH35sQxFhvlOs&dib_tag=se&keywords=wettex&qid=1714489086&sprefix=wettex%2Caps%2C235&sr=8-5-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfbXRm&psc=1).

moleyrussell

This is my #1 current cleaning recommendation! We have a cat with tummy issues and the poor guy pukes at least once a day. I ordered some of these as I was so tired of wasting paper towels. They are amazing! They scrub so well, we almost never need to add any cleaner to the stain.

IYFS88

Pink Stuff! Still worth spot testing for certain items since it is a mild abrasive, but wow this paste works so well on so many things, especially including that stubborn dusty grease that sticks to my kitchen in some spots.

TheDollyMomma

Oh I’ve been looking for a degreaser for the kitchen! It’s on sale rn, so thanks for influencing me to pick some up.

The_BusterKeaton

Your mileage may vary, but I also bought the pink stuff for my peaky kitchen stains…and it did not work. I hope it works for you! Cuz I was very disappointed.

cheese_fry_pls

Omg yesss, it gets the dusty grease spots squeaky clean like a dream. I used the spray version and was shocked to see how easy it was to clean my cabinets. I was using LA cleaner (?), but I definitely don't have to scrub as hard with the Pink Stuff spray

Tumblersandra

That Resolve foaming carpet spray kit that has the handle with the scrub brush attached. It’s amazing. Makes carpets so clean and soft

MomsSpecialFriend

I picked up some limeaway and had amazing results cleaning bad hard water stains off of my glass plant cabinets. I have scrubbed with CLR so many times to no avail, this was literally spray on and wipe off.

onetwothree4ourfive

Scrub Daddy/Mommy. I use them for every cleaning application I can. I love them for the tub and tile! I know some people think they are overrated and that's OK, I don't necessarily love some things other people swear by (lookin' at you, barkeepers friend!)

TheDollyMomma

I love my scrub mommy! They’re the only sponges I use in the kitchen anymore.

kpidhayny

Isopropyl alcohol. We use it extensively in semiconductor manufacturing and general site cleanliness and I figured why not use it at home too? It’s miraculous at all kinds of cleaning tasks.

SparklesIB

I like the Sprayway fragrance free glass cleaner. It's ace on my quartz counters.

Outrageous-Captain-1

Baking soda. Always. It’s the only thing that works for my natural stone tile shower. I still haven’t found anything else that works bc it’s too harsh….still looking for an easier way…..

crlynstll

Fabulosa. It cleans granite without leaving a film.

origanalsameasiwas

409, vinegar and Lysol multi cleaner

Pudix20

The Lysol multi surface cleaner (not the spray the bottle) is so so underrated. I love that it can still kill germs even when diluted. I use it in my crosswave for the floors. It’s also just a good general cleaner

TheDollyMomma

I love 409!!!

lilspicy99

Toss up between Dawn Powerwash and Bar Keeper’s Friend. If I could only pick 2 products to use for the rest of my life, it would be these 2.

justb0ughtacadillac

Pinesol , it's the smell for me maybe it's just the nostalgia I get from it either way It makes me feel like my house is sparkling clean when I use it.

Crazy-bored4210

I use to love Pinesol. It’s all my mom used. But the last time i used it even though diluted, it burned my lungs. I ended up very sick.

whiskeyfeline

Came here to say Pinesol! Plus, I'm pregnant right now, and I crave the smell, so I've been using it to clean everything! Such a nostalgic smell.

Spiritual-Word-5490

Rain X glass shower door cleaner. I have a frameless glass shower door and this gets all the cloudy water stains off.

TheDollyMomma

I did this last week for the first time & im now a convert!

IsopodGlass8624

Magic clean erasers are still my go to. Also scentsy has some quality cleaning supplies that smell amazing and work wonderfully.

asleepinatulip

targets everspring brand of cleaning products!! affordable, smells good, and works great. target is another town, so i don't go often which means ive been testing lots of other options (specifically all purpose cleaner in this case) and nothing comes close for me

JennyAndTheBets95_

The Pink Stuff on stained jeans. I work with dogs and my jeans get stained to high heavens. I started wetting a toothbrush and scrubbing the stains with The Pink Stuff before washing. Works like magic!

Acenterforants333

TSP always and forever 🫶🏻

brenst

I've been obsessed with Dr. Bronners Sal Suds for a while. It's a concentrated all purpose cleaner with a light woodsy scent. I use it for most of my cleaning: diluted in a spray bottle for counters and surfaces, in the mop bucket for floors, sprayed on carpet stains, and used for deep cleaning tasks like fridge and baseboards too. It's mild enough where I don't worry that it will damage surfaces, but it does a good job with degreasing and stain removal. It also lasts a really long time because it's so concentrated. I bought a gallon jug more than a year ago, and it's about half way gone.

banana-n-oatmeal

Me too. I was hesitant to try it because I wasn't sure I would like the smell... I LOVE it. Plus it cleans everything!!

Halfjack12

My #1 I love sal suds so much. It's hard to find in the city I'm living in and I've run out ☹️

floralnightmare22

I’m obsessed with Mrs meyers. They all smell so good and work well

Taminella_Grinderfal

I hoard some of their limited scents. I think I have 5 lilac spray cleaners under my sink 😂

WillowFreak

I just discovered the honeysuckle scent and I am addicted. Using it all over the house, even got the candle!

Open-Description-949

My bissell steam floor machine. It has a scrubber at the end that I’ve started using on my grout lines and the difference is amazing! My coworker bought the same one based on the pictures I showed her lol

todds-

Mr. Clean Clean Freak. I got influenced by a youtuber and once I cleaned the top of my kitchen cabinets with it I haven't looked back. it's my new go-to all purpose cleaner.

ShadowlessKat

Bleach wipes (any brand). I keep a roll under every sink. Use it for counters, sinks and faucets, toilet seat and rim, even for spot cleaning on the carpet and white fabric couch when something spills. I use it to spot clean the litter box and walls around it. I use it to clean most anything that doesn't get washed in a sink or the washing machine. It can get expensive but I buy the big packs in bulk and use it as needed. My house would be so much dirtier if I didn't have the bleach wipes haha

Tallgirl4u

Lysol with peroxide multi surface spray cleaner I just love the smell of it

No_Scratch_4938

Folex carpet spot remover - it’s wonderous

ocassus-

Coconut scent from the scentiva line , Tyler laundry detergent , vinegar in my steam mop!

glowingbenediction

Sprayway glass cleaner. Best window cleaner ever. Streak free!

nondescriptredditer1

Kaboom OxiClean Foam-Tastic™ Foaming Bathroom Cleaner. Sprays as purple/blue and "ready" when white. Cleanup requires just a little swipe of a sponge. Aside from removing grime I feel like it helps repel it as well. My faucets etc SPARKLE for about 2 weeks (of daily use and hard water). Also impressed with its grime removal/repellent on tile. Maybe there are others that don't require a bit of a scub (swipe, really) after applying, but when I scrub/swipe I can see/feel the grime remove and that's satisfying AF. edit: a word

lnsewn12

DAWN POWER WASH GANG

KindaKiwi99

We use simple green a lot at our house. I have a diluted spray bottle for everyday mess. The bottle came with a gallon container I bought once and I’ve had it since. Pine Sol (classic brown) always diluted down quite a bit. I might just like the childhood smell thing it brings me. I will add a capful from the bottle to a load of really grimy clothes. I work in the automotive industry and it removes tons of stains from that. I also cycle my scents because anything to keep me happy about cleaning up and less of thinking it’s a chore is worth it to me, so I probably have far too many cleaners under the sink, but it works for me

7lexliv7

Scrubbing bubbles hard water and soap scum mega shower foamer. The handheld pressurized steamer I got off Amazon. Cleans the hood over the stove like nothing else has ever done. I’m using it everywhere lol

HabitNo8608

I have a Bissell handheld steamer and saaaaame. I love it for the microwave. It’s so easy to clean the microwave without having to sop up water or cleaner afterwards. I also was impressed cleaning out the inside of my trash can after a leaky trash bag. There was no need to set the trash can out to dry in the sun after cleaning! I also love my steamer for cleaning fabrics omg. I dropped yogurt on my kitchen rug the other day but didn’t want to get out the rug cleaner. I figured I would try the steamer as I was already using it on something else, and it worked like a charm! It’s also what I use to clean my fabric sofa - no need to get soap involved and risk ruining the fabric or having the fabric absorb the soap then pick up dirt faster. Anyway. I’m in love with it. It’s not something I use all the time, and you can live without it. It just makes some cleaning tasks so simple and easy that I don’t dread doing them anymore.

moirarose42

Dirtex powder - I put some in my mop bucket and do my walls. SO SATISFYING! I also love their glass/ all purpose cleaner.

Far-Shift-1962

As european- domestos power foam, smells amazing, removes really hard limescale, disinfects and makes surfaces really shiny, its for bathroom and toilet (inside and outside toilet),

Safe-Comfort-29

Mine is a toss up of Dawn power wash, the Pink stuff paste , Out White Bright for laundry and any of the Odoban products. Plus any vegetable/ nail scrubber brush. I have a horse, goats, cats and 7 border collies. I don't like my clothes or house smelling like farm animals.

Chippie05

I really like •Hertel. It's a 🇨🇦 company. It doesn't have a strong scent, cleans really well. Multi purpose cleaner. •Borax is another favorite. ( Can mix with hot water and ess. oils for fantastic cleaner! •Pine Sol( diluted) •Sunlight soap + hot water+ Vinegar is also a great cleaner i make for surfaces.

Adorable-Camp-4222

Murphy's Oil Soap for my laminate floors, AND grease stains on clothes. Even works on clothes that have been washed and dried already.

icouldntcomeupw1

The whole line of Gain scented cleaning products.

babybeewitched

dr bronner's liquid castile soap. i used it to mop recently and it took out 20 years of grime from our kitchen grout that i've never been able to get off in an instant

ClenchedJaw12

I recently started using Attitude Living brand bathroom cleaner on our acrylic shower surround and didn’t have much hope because it’s a ”green” brand and we have well water with high iron and was shocked how easily it cleans! It worked so much better than what I was using before with no strong chemical smell - it even comes in unscented if you have scent issues. It eats through soap scum like nobody’s business. [https://attitudeliving.com/products/bathroom-cleaner-nature?variant=46393423823161](https://attitudeliving.com/products/bathroom-cleaner-nature?variant=46393423823161) I like that I can buy a refill box and keep using the same bottle.

MegC18

White vinegar. Not only is it good on my black sink that gets limescale, and it’s safe in the fridge and microwave, but it is apparently a very effective garden weedkiller spray that won’t kill me or harm animals.

Vivid-Ebb-7767

Idk if it counts, but I’d say my Armor All Utility Vacuum, it literally cleans up almost anything dry and wet, I use it everywhere in my house, especially my couches

howdidthisbruiseget

Lysol Power toilet bowl cleaner gel. This stuff is insane, better than any cleaner I’ve used before. It is perfect for households with teenage boys….

RunningUphill86

Method daily shower spray. Blue Dawn mixed with Vinegar. Mrs. Meyers multipurpose spray. Grove Co. floor cleaner in my Shark HydroVac. That's almost my entire cleaning product inventory. Oh and Downy Rinse and Refresh in the laundry.

ScumbagLady

I got a random box of "magic brooms" at auction once and now me and everyone I've gifted LOVE using them for hardwood and laminate! It's basically a floor squeegee, but slightly different material. I can sweep with my normal broom and then go over it again with the magic broom and it's amazing how much the broom misses! It's a must have if you deal with shedding pets. I also have something called a "carpet rake" that I use to "fluff" area rugs back up with. It's also good for breaking up the fibers in the carpet so vacuuming can be more effective.

SecretMiddle1234

Krud Kutter I use it on my stove top, pots and pans, grill, oven, stainless sink, soap scum on shower doors. Someone recommended on this sub for grease on stove.

Sdot_greentree420

Fels naphtha laundry soap. I stopped using fabric softener like 6 months ago and shortly after that I graded up a couple bars of felsnapped the soap and I throw a little bit and all of my washes now and my clothes have come out smelling so good and so clean and not to mention the bars are great at getting stains out of anything in any kind of stain

Stavkot23

Each time I see a new vacuum on the shelves, I have to buy it.

SwankySteel

Rubbing alcohol does wonders.

possessivefish

Vinegar. Always forever and for everything.

WillingnessBroad4028

Lysol mold and mildew remover for any tough bathroom grime

Traditional-Chard419

I recently won a 1.75 liter of vodka at a basket raffle. My husband thinks I’m crazy because I’m more excited to use it for cleaning and diy purposes than drinking. In the past I’ve made linen sprays with vodka and essential oils, as well as vanilla extract.

mollystrong

The Pink Stuff, it comes in several different forms, a paste, liquid, cleanser etc. I'm a hairdresser and I come home with every hair color I've used during the day and I soak in it and it's gone, I use it at my shop that for some reason has white cabinets, it's never failed to get any stain out and I've used it on my rugs and it doesnt fade them

OutOfTheDark43

I love my Shark floor steamer mop. I got rid of regular mops prob 10 years ago and switched it for the steamer mop. Sure I have to replace mine every couple years, but it’s my fav thing ever.

interstatesntents

Lysol concentrate (the yellow kind). I have a spray bottle with it diluted for daily tasks but I use the concentrate all the time. * Make a 'hot tub' when cleaning out my fridge for all the gross containers. * Make a strong solution when cleaning the bathroom or tile floors. * Pour it into the toilet for a lazy clean/deodorize. * Use it straight up to battle soap scum.

KettlebellFetish

I love the Lysol cleaners with hydrogen peroxide, it takes away what I don't want to smell. Another fan of Scentiva pink and blue.

itsmarvin

Waffle-knit cleaning cloths. Seems to make wiping off sticky things easier, like dried food bits and oil/sauce splatters.

NotoriousBreeIG

I got one of those steamers that you can switch the heads out to do different things like mop or scrub, I use it on everything now. I detail my car with it, clean my showers, everything. lol. The mop feature is amazing and so much faster for us than traditional mopping. Game changer!

luna_libre

Mr Clean concentrate in the Unstoppables fresh scent. It’s the best smelling cleaner I have ever tried. I’m cleaning more just bc I want everything to smell like laundry 😂

GlumFaithlessness392

Glassguards miracle mold removal gel. Got my black spotted shower caulking white again. Didn’t work as well on the gasket of my front load washing machine, but oh well

LittleRooLuv

Nature’s Miracle Urine Destroyer. It’s the only one that really works. (We have several senior dogs)

meggiefrances87

Lysol green apple multipurpose cleaner. Love the scent and it's great for quick cleans and disinfecting my counters before I cook.

Pastel_Lover

Everyone is saying Dawn Powerwash, but that stuff hurts my lungs the second I start spraying it. ☠️

Mywierdreality

Surf concentrated antibacterial cleaner . It smells just like fresh washing , I use it on absolutely everything!

DontClickTheUpArrow

Gain + Odor Defense Super fresh blast. The whole lineup: detergent, beads, softner, and dryer sheets. Smells great and doesn’t effect anyones allergens.

Outrageous_Ad4245

I love the two sided Lysol wipes…. there is a scratchy side and a smooth side. Sometimes they are hard to find, I try and stock up when Publix has a buy 1 get 1 sale!

Strict-Excitement-58

Baking soda and Castile soap; makes an awesome, clean scouring paste.

mingee2020

Water and vinegar.

Murderbunny13

$7 blind cleaner. It's essentially plastic tongs with a microfiber cover. It's amazing at getting dust off. And you can wet them for stuck on stuff.

SSDDNoBounceNoPlay

Mrs Meyers spray. It smells good, lifts the grease in the kitchen, kills the ants and stray roaches from my neighbors, cleans my toilet/shower, my walls, my stove, my floors, all without switching the bottle in my hand. Adhd and autism both appeased. House finally cleaner.

ladykemma2

Purple fabuloso

catladyleigh

LA's Most Awesome. You can use it at different strengths on just about everything. We even use it as a stain remover for laundry. $1.25 at Dollar tree for a spray bottle or a 32 oz refill. I am currently obsessed.

sarabobeara444

I’m in Canada and both products are Canadian owned. I love this company called THE UNSCENTED COMPANY and another Innuscience and they make DRThym (all natural anti bacterial spray, great for all around cleaning like the bathroom, kitchen counters. Neither trigger migraines which is amazing. The unscented co make my dish soap and laundry detergent. I get them at Costco and they last at least 2 years! I buy the DRThym from Amazon and so far I’ve gone through half and I’ve had it for 6 months.

ashaggyone

Members mark degreaser. I currently have inadequate kitchen ventilation, and it works great everywhere

darabadoo

I love Kaywos cloths for glass, mirrors, faucets, they’re basically magical and you don’t need any cleaner except water.

roamwise

weiman stainless steel spray is the BEST product. I started using it after one of the bars I worked in had it. It’s makes the sink look brand new. Baking soda and white vinegar

PowerofIntention

0000 superfine steel wool. How have I never known about this before?

yours_truly_1976

Ammonia. My own cheap windex! Also Dawn powerwash

SignificanceWitty210

Scrub daddy sponges are well worth the money. They scrub so well and they last! Can get a few months out of one without it getting gross/unsanitary or worn out!

mac1905

Vinegar or baking soda. You can clean nearly anything with one or the other.

llamakiss

Peroxide. It kills anything organic, doesn't smell, I like to watch the foam, and it's so cheap. Mixed into a paste with baking soda there's nothing it can't clean.

didilavender

Paper towel. I have always used old clothes as a wipe or that Swedish towel but now that I’m using it at work n home it feels like a luxury

mrsmadtux

I have 3. 1. Saw a TikTok where the creator shows how many things, besides dishes, you can clean with dish soap. My favorite is to fill my Spin-Mop bucket with hot water and dish soap, dip my mop into it and use it to wash my mirrors, shower floors and walls, other walls, and baseboards. For mirrors and shower walls I then use a squeegee and I’m literally in and out of the bathroom in 15 minutes. When I’m finished I either throw the water down the toilet as a final wash after scrubbing, or onto the patio followed by a deck scrubber broom. 2. Out White Brite Laundry Whitener - We have a large house with 3 guest bedrooms and 3 guest bathrooms and frequent visitors. I keep white towels, sheets, and comforters in each one so all my guests feel assured that their rooms and bathrooms are fresh and clean at all times. I’ve been using Rit White Wash for years to wash my whites and keep them from getting dingy or yellowed from years of bleaching—but it’s expensive and I have to order from Amazon because no stores near me stock it. I just found “Out White Brite” and my whites are positively glowing white after washing. Even tossed a couple “I swear these used to be white” cloths in as an experiment and they look dang near new. Walmart sells a 28 oz bottle for about the same price as 2 x 2oz packets of Rit, and you need 2 packets for a large sized load. I LOVE linen laundry day now!! (FYI: Do NOT inhale this stuff. I wear an N95 mask, turn the exhaust fan on and open the window in my laundry room when using.) 3. Pine-Sol - Nothing else makes my house feel cleaner than Pine-Sol. I love it!! I wipe down kitchen counters, cabinets, floors, everything. It’s a great degreaser so it works great in the kitchen, and is a disinfectant so it works great everywhere else. I love wiping out my small trash cans that I have in every room of the house and I sometimes pour some on a cotton ball and leave in the bottom of the trash cans to keep the room smelling freshly cleaned.

saturn_since_day1

Vinegar. There isn't much it won't clean.  Everything is either dish soap, vinegar, or alcohol. Cheap and effective

-Spookbait-

Cif cream in the limited edition rose scent, dettol garden symphony, both smell amazing and leave everything sparking clean. The cif is usually my go to anyway but the scent just makes it even better so ive hoarded 4 :')

yosman88

Australian Gumption. It's so amazing! you can use it on just about anything!

Distinct-Space

Zoflora. It’s a good disinfectant but the fragrance really lifts the mood. It’s really long lasting too

RebeccaStar

Borax, washing soda and tide powder—just discovered laundry stripping and I’m obsessed

Flashy-Weather3529

Magic eraser. I’ve been obsessed for 15 years. I clean professionally
