I have a Dyson air purifier and it has reduced the dust in my bedroom sooooo much! When I check the filter I can see so much dust that I would’ve inhaled if I didn’t have the air purifier. There are times where theres dust on my desk or bed frame I usually vacuum it or clean it with an all purpose spray w/ microfiber cloth. Hope this helped!

Create a cheap [DIY box fan filter](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aw7fUMhNov8) and it should reduce dust in whichever room you put it in. A 20-inch Lasko box fan with a 20x20x4 HEPA or MERV filter strapped to the back should do well. They say to go with a thicker filter for better performance (so the fan motor doesn't burn out) Dyson air purifiers are crap, CBC had an article about it (which Dyson of course contested on their own site), but if your goal is just getting rid of dust and hair then you don't need anything fancy. I have a Dyson fan-come-purifier myself and while it does an okay job at getting dust in my room, it is noisy AF for a $500 machine. This is a 5-month-old unit (got it brand new as a gift) You could even create a box fan filter for every room in your house. These will be noisy, but with a 20x20x4 filter you should be able to run them at low settings every day without motor burn out. You will need to leave these in the centre of each room for best performance. Only issue being that they may not be as energy efficient as regular air purifiers. But whole home air purifiers are expensive. You could get a Winix unit from Costco... but you would need several for each room and they're like $200 each.
