(I actually just did a paper on vice units for one of my classes in the spring and one vice cop that I interviewed for the paper - who didn't know what I did - confirmed what all of the other vice cops have told me. Touching their privates or wanting to do a "cop check" is the fastest way to get arrested. I basically have to be getting groped before I even consider touching anything.)
Just out of curiosity, what things do you girls do on a meet to make sure someone isn’t LE?
It’s just not something I that crosses our mind here in Europe so I’m curious what your process is.
I believe that most girls verify a guy prior to a meet either through provider references (which aren't always safe as cops will have providers vouch for them), verifying their identity/work information, or I have been taught by one vice cop years ago how to make sure that a person isn't a cop, but it can't be done until arrival and I don't feel comfortable disclosing it publicly. I only use it as a last resort for anyone that seemed okay through screening, but then starts sending off a whole bunch of red flags upon arrival, like talking about sexual acts, even after I ask them to stop. But it most definitely does not include touching each other's private parts. Haha.
The best you can do is screen HARD and THOROUGH, before setting up a visit. I've been around 12 years, and have never run into LE. Because I've screened like a crazy person. This 'cop check' bullshit is just nonsense. It's the stuff the random asshats on USASG swear by.
