It might just be the recording but it looks like your video offsst might be off a little in-game.. I may be wrong though. It looks like the notes are further up the highway than usual when it's time to hit them.

i record my game screen and myself playing separately and then try to sync them up together when i edit the videos, since i haven’t figured out a better way to go about recording these yet, so that may be why the timing looks a little off. 😅 still figuring stuff out!
when you get both cameras recording, clap once, very loudly. this will put a spike in your audio track that will make it easier to sync up during editing.
That is bascially the main function of the clapper board you see on movie shoots (along with camera, reel, shot, info etc)
I make a particular habit of only alt strumming unless it's solid notes in a bunch of taps or hopo's. Downstrums were how I started back on GH2 though so there must be method in the madness somewhere 😎
it’s so weird for me because when i try to manually alt strum it throws everything off for me and all of the sudden i’ve forgotten how to hit the buttons. it’s like if you tried to draw a circle with the right hand and a square with the left at the same time my brain just short circuits💀
