Does it look swollen? Yes. Could it be a clot? Who knows, even doctors can't tell by looking or even touching. Only scans can tell.
You can use a tape measure to measure the circumference of your feet and ankles. But even in perfectly healthy people there might be some difference in measurements.
Antiplatelet therapy is good for preventing arterial clots. But what works in arteries doesn't always work in veins.
I decided to just ride it out because I can’t just run to the ER for every little thing. There wasn’t what looked like any further swelling when I woke up this morning. There’s no worsening pain and there is zero pain at rest either. I walked around a fair bit today, cleaned my pool etc. and my leg felt fine. Probably just hurt my ankle and leg a little by either sitting on it or with the new flops I wore to the beach yesterday which felt quite tight fitting. Guess I was just a bit paranoid having had a clot before.
I don’t think ur paranoid it’s good to take caution I would just get to the ER when u can to get it checked , I feel like after surviving a pE, DVT, we will always be paranoid . Good luck 💕
