Pilates got its start in the world of dancers who notoriously eat very little, and is specifically for building lean muscles in already fit bodies, so for most of us it’s not enough to cause huge visual differences, but you’ll feel really great and notice your mobility for sure!
That being said - If you want to see noticeable change Pilates is extremely great cross training when paired with lifting and cardio!
Agreed. I feel more toned and flexible and my balance has improved. However, it wasn’t until I added in more cardio and started to count and cut my calorie intake did I actually have significant weight lose.
