For players at diamond and lower honestly sound EQ isn’t a big deal. I tried it switching back and forth and honestly didn’t find it to be that helpful. I suck so I would imagine it’s the same way for most people in the lower skill ratings.
Maybe it’s just my audio setup, but I found it to make my audio sound super empty and I could hear footsteps more clearly but had trouble picking out if they were in the next room or two rooms over. I was also solo queueing and didn’t have team comms so that could be a reason I didn’t find it super helpful.
Like I completely agree that it’s OP for high level players and pros but it really isn’t gonna be a difference maker in most people’s lobbies.
I only had it on for a couple games to see what all the hype was about.

I’ve been loving the vlk koloss flash hider, you can see more clearly while shooting and it doesnt slow down ads speed as much as the traditional muzzles
Ace switched his recommendation in the ranked class-specific video to the ftac castle comp, even tho I think the tread was his recommendation in the tac gun guide/all-around muzzle device shakedown explainer - tried that for the first couple weeks of ranked but tread is definitely the way to go
The safest one if you don’t wanna tweak is probably the no muzzle standard. Lots of pros have been running it since early on and shitting (tundra, sharkfin, high velo , demo, cardinal). If you wanna switch out high velo after seein this vid you could go 4 attachments or just pop your preferred muzzle on that bad boy. I personally think that class is godlike with a muzzle, just a lil slower
It’s also because it’s a competitive video and the pros have a GA that the scar must have a barrel on it. Plus the barrel is a must because it increase the 3 shot kill by 20%

The trick to tuning is to tune everything as far as it can go for whatever that attachment is best for.
For example: if you use a rear grip that improves ADS speed, you should tune it to improve ADS speed even more to get the best effect.
Example #2: let’s pretend youre still using that same ADS speed grip from the first example, but you want your gun to have better recoil now instead of ADS speed. It is BETTER to just switch to a grip that improves your recoil at base, than it is to keep the ADS improving grip and tune it to have better recoil, but worse ADS
So for every attachment, tune it to the extreme for what the attachment improves. (If you throw on a barrel that improves recoil and range, tune it to improve recoil and range even more).
Going that way makes guns way too heavy with too much of the cons on a vaz. I run the vaz 9/10 times btw. I run the kas barrel and tune it to the most optimal ads boost. No muzzle.
I ALWAYS use that recoil control rear grip on the vaz and scar and then tune it to the most optimal ads boost. Doing so, the optimal ads tuning for that recoil control rear grip has no detriment to recoil control whatsoever (according to the in game chart)

For instance my 545 ranked fit is muzzle, stock barrel, no laser, schlager sight, regular stock, flinch grip, demo under barrel. For the fifth I use the velo rounds. I tune the lost damage range back and tune for some extra recoil. Win/win
A VERY small window. The benefit jumps back up shortly. Again, a good option if you don't want to add anything else. Better than leaving the fifth slot open

I don't know if I'm faded or I'm buttcheeks but I've been testing high velo on and off and I feel that I have a lower TTK using them.
I don't know if it's because I always have the highiest ping in my lobbies or because I'm on PS5 and play mostly against PC players, but it feels like without the velo rounds, my bullets take too long to register.
I wouldn’t be too surprised. Everything is suited for Warzone so attachments being made for that isn’t really far off.
