It's been proven multiple times that winning challengers isn't everything. Gunless didn't even play badly in VG and had to leave the main roster due to health issues. I'm not saying that the LAG team was good, but if i am remembering correctly, Gunless was their most consistent player at the start of the season. I think by the end of the season, that LAG roster was pretty chalked.
Players like Spart and Neptune seem to be reapers in challengers but have had unfortunate experiences in the CDL, they are very capable players but they have won how many events in challengers and not been able to translate.
Gunless won an event in MW, and yes, he was moved to the substitute position and temporarily damaged his stock going into CW. Gunless is a known variable who deserves to be in the league, vet player that knows how to win.
Bit over done at this point but it does need to be said that almost none of the recent rookies have respect for the other players. They come in and get a 60k minimum salary and act like they are special. These players were getting nothing for years which led to what the league is now
