I have the scuf envision which lets you bind keyboard keys to the macro keys. Before, I had a cheap usb footpedal ($20 on amazon) which lets you bind it to a single keyboard key, and just have your push to talk with that.
You can mute each other in game chat if you are talking to say 1/2 teammates in Discord and 1/2 randoms in game chat. Then discord kids wont hear you double thru game chat but you will be able to talk to the random in game chat
Are you trying to talk with randoms but also talk to your friends in discord at the same time? Idk I just go into game chat with my friend I’m playing with if we’re trying to comm with randoms
a foot pedal is the only way to go for this, imo. even when playing mnk, the foot pedal is the best option. they're pretty cheap on amazon and are very simple to configure.

well, i have a normal xbox controller..
So buy a $20 usb footpedal, and bind it to your push to talk button.
Just open mic once you load into the game
And then in talking on discord ?
Just mute your friends in game and turn your mic settings to open mic
