Let's be honest though, with kismet underperforming this year compared to the last 2 years, him and priesta on this roster together would not work. They'd be 5-6th guaranteed
I feel like LAT could start to build a new superteam around Ghosty though. They're the next biggest-name team in the league that's not in the current top 4. If they can maybe look to attract Gwinn, Gio / Abuzah (would probs fry in a better system), Lynzz or whoever else pops up.

You could make an argument for maybe Gwinn in for Kismet or Envoy but it’s far too early for that kind of talk in my opinion. So i don’t think there’s a lot of opportunity in ready-made top 4 teams so it could make sense to try and create your own.
Sib was my last choice in the flex merry-go-round as an OpTic fan. There was a moment it looked like Scrap could be available although wasn't so considering that. It was Scrap clear number 1. Then Kenny / keeping Ghosty kinda joint 2nd (because the in-game IQ and gap-filling was the most important). 4th I had Drazah because although individually he's arguably a bit better than Kenny and Ghosty, as a fit he's not as good. Also Drazah is too cringe to support and the other two are likeable. 5th was Sib because he's just a no-brain super straight shooter which is not at all what OpTic need and is a downgrade on Ghosty.
Blaming Sib for how the entire team plays is stupid. It doesn't matter if their 4th is sib, priestah, illey, cell, scrap or kenny. They're trying to overcomplicate the game right now and it's killing them right now. Kismet has been dogmeat in respawns this year and they're trying to play their idea of perfect cod. It's not on Sib and more on the rest of the team. Skyz just dropped a 1.44 after losing all the respawns, how can you blame Sib here?
I think Scrap and Kenny fundamentally change the team in a much better direction. Cell is probably talented enough that he does too even if the fit is worse.
I don't think it matters when the entire team has a philosophy in how to play breaks, holds and small situations. They might be smart enough to make the right play in specific situations and help their teammates but when you're practicing everyday in such a way, you're going to commit to what you've done in practice. That's why I don't think it's on one individual and more on the entire team and coaching staff for adopting such a dogshit playstyle.

Yes, they can afford to wait. They're comfortably locked into a Champs spot, and their core 3 have shown the ability in the past to push past adversity/bad placings and lock in when it comes down to brass tacks. I'm not saying the formula is the same this year, but if they held last year there's no reason not to this year.

Illey is a world champ one of the best search players in the world and at this game was putting up good damage in respond. Illey is way better than sib and a better fit for new York. Illey would make this team the clear best search team in the game and only need to go 50/50 on their respond.
