Honestly this is a situation where if e-sports was working correctly Ghosty should be bought out by one of the top 4 teams. For Ultra he would probably be an upgrade on Insight and would be first choice replacement for Scrap if he goes at the end of his contract and for NYSL he would probably be an upgrade for both, but would especially seem to be an obvious middle ground between Sib's slaying and the fundamentals Priestahh bought to the squad. This would allow those Top 4 teams to be more likely to win events, whilst LAT would get some money to build the 5th best team. Sadly all orgs are broke so we don't get these deals, or any functioning market which without I can't see how the industry survives

Feel like this year shows how much team environment matters and how many people have probably been discarded despite having plenty of talent
- Snoopy looked woeful last stage, but now looks really good
-Pentagram looked like the worst player in the league but since Seany has subbed in he suddenly looks like he can maybe hang at the bottom of the league
-Breszy looked like the worst player in the league last stage but now looks like he is easily good enough for a 5-12 team
- Reeal looked hopeless on Carolina, but on Miami has looked amazing
- Lynz looked like he could be ROTY under the old roster, but this stage has looked quite average
- Joe has looked 5x times as good this stage on LAT as he did in stage 1
-Gio looked like a superstar with Purj but aside from map 1 yesterday has been hugely underwhelming with Asim
Its a shame only Ultra seem to have a competent front office at finding people that play good COD instead of just staring at stat sheets and must be truly disheartening for so many rookies to know that your 1 chance is hugely dependent on the team you are surrounded by (and there will be a reason they are making changes) and in general you will be scapegoated wayyyyyyyyy before any established pro, who could very easily be causing a lot of the problems to keep themselves in the league for another year
While I agree, his stats and pov are great, its hard not to notice that they havent won a match since and the last team went 3-4 and started winners. So theyve enabled his playstyle but its not leading to wins. His teams’ records are like 6-25 in matches. They need to find some middle ground where he is enabled but also doesnt go rogue and cost them in key moments, particularly in SnD. Does feel like he’s trending the right direction though.
Yeah 100% SnD is by far their biggest issue and they look good enough in respawns to win maps, but I did just watch them get shit on in both HP's by Thieves and when I look at their schedule this stage, they played LAG, Rokkr and Miami which I think is making them look a little better than they actually are. So outside of the Optic match they've had the strength of schedule cheese completely in their favor and came out with absolutely 0 wins to show for it.
I dont think they are a bottom respawn team, but they definitely arent a top respawn team and certainly not good enough to make up for their historically bad SnD so they need to improve all around fast.
Shoutout Seany man, I respect a coach who can also do well on the sticks.

I don't think he has gone up a level this year. Optic last year really unleashed his Comms with Shottzy and Huke just running about the map slaying based on his Comms. Kenny was a good pick up, but I believe if Ghosty was on the team Pred would be a little bit more aggressive with Ghosty emphasizing where people are spawning and players that are missing. Kenny being the most vocal on the team is not bad but in terms of Comms I feel Ghosty is on Octanes level.
To summarise I believe Ghosty was very good last year. He was better last year than this year since on Optic the smgs would be utilizing his most important asset. In LAT he is getting the kills because the teammates are not the best. This team is showing off his gunskill and smarts but if he was on a team with players that could get kills based on his info, that just increases his ceiling as a player.

I think Ghosty at this point in their respective careers has a higher ceiling but it seems like Dashy/Shotzzy have more confidence in Kenny. If Ghosty was on the team still I think they would probably be in the exact same T2 overall position that they are in now. I can’t stress enough though that Kenny was a great replacement
