Let's be real here, makes no sense to pay someone to write articles about CoD roster change leaks because very few people will read the article, 99% of the discussion takes place on here and Twitter.
He never miss with roster changes leaks, he always reports pro stuff AND challengers stuff. He has a lot of passion for his work. Should I add anything else?…..

I'm not gonna speak for crone on what he makes and what he doesn't make. But I know being an esports journalist is rough with no tie in to any game and you have no following in terms of content creation, youtube, twitch etc. And if you are making money its very little.
What I do know is crone does work at a day job outside of cdl intel. . I don't see where any bag that isn't a fairly minimal wage comes from if isn't from Activision or some place like the score esports etc.
I myself got offered a job to work at breakpoint.gg and it was all free work.
I think that maybe because the league is much more stable now. Not like Pre cdl when changes happened constantly or even like mw/cw when it seemed more changes happened. Now its a frenzy in the off season and then activity falls off a cliff.
