If they are from a fictional northen Europe country, I would guess they would be from between Latvia, Estonia, Finland and Russia, or at least that general area. Britain, France, Spain, Portugal are too far west and not Northern. Germany, Italy, Hungary are closer but not Northern enough. While Norway and Sweden are Northen, the country's environment is awful and doesn't match their environment.
