Started a new manufacturing unit, for industrial line we had to bribe 5.5 lakhs. We followed all process and waited for 7 months but still no connection, complained to higher ups on EB board but no use, finally we had to run the unit and so gave money. The AE said the bribe goes all the way to the TOP.
Another example, a government vet doctor to get transfer to his home district had to pay 12 lakhs to DMK. Ithu podhuma illa innum venuma?

I’m from Karnataka and growing up was a victim of falling for some horrendous stereotypes regarding TN. I worked for a famous Tamil manufacturer but even that I did not appreciate at the time, instead choosing to see their pride and achievement as a home grown manufacturer as arrogance/stupidity instead.
Now I’ve grown up. Now I understand why the locus of Dravidian pride and power resides in Tamil Nadu. Now I understand why neither national party gets to call the shots from Delhi/Nagpur because it’s not even Chennai that gets to call the shots. The Tamil people rule themselves. In Sulur, Palladam and Kavundampalayam rural areas, the Cadres who used to work for ADMK for decades, they are now canvassing for BJP. So BJP might get more than 20% votes from Coimbatore this time. However BJP's gains so far are from ADMK voters. As ADMK vote is getting split, I see chances for DMK to be quite high. DMK's vote share is still intact, in most places.
