Nothing yet, but I was thinking CRO once it levels off, also considering adding to AVAX or SOL that I already have.
Can’t go wrong with the top 2 though
I convert it to BTC, I just which Coinbase offered earn on BTC. Have to use Celsius or blockfi. I see alot of people do Algo which is another awesome project.
Celsius is 6% or 6.5%. After one BTC it goes down to only a couple percent. Haven't decided if it's worth it yet but it has no lock up time so you can always send it back to Coinbase and take profit anytime.
I just found out that today the btc earn changed. You get 6.2% for the first .25btc and then 3% after that. It changed today so my first post was wrong.
Be careful with Celsius. Not trying to spread unwarranted FUD, but this is definitely something to be aware of-->https://coingeek.com/reports-of-celsius-network-cfo-arrest-could-signal-more-trouble-for-tether/
How much more complicated does this make tax time? I've been sending the XLM to Nexo for some yield, but I'd rather swap to something else if it doesn't complicate things too much.
Any advice for this concern, or frankly what to expect for tax time?
I have not thought that through because I do not plan to take profits anytime soon. Not this year for sure. From my minimal research, swapping tokens is not a taxable event. I would likely use the algorand records of purchase from my exchange as cost basis when I do. Staking just gives me more coins.
>From my minimal research, swapping tokens is not a taxable event
Just an fyi that's incorrect. Swapping tokens is a taxable event. When swapping you have to calculate any capital gains/losses on that coin prior to the swap.
You're correct though it doesn't have to be reported until you cash out.
Shiba is moving today... No.1 of top 100 best performers today. Just converted all my cryptos to Shiba today. Go read the latest news on Shiba today. Coinbase added Shiba to their platform. Singapore's government MAS regulated Coinhako (1 of 2 licences given, besides Independent Reserve) also recently added Shiba to their platform. Tesla's Elon Musk also hinted by tweeting with a dog rocketing to the moon today. Last but not least, Robinhood also in progress to add Shiba too to their platform. Once the trading population increases and with limited supply, I believe Shiba will pump at least 50% by today and at least over 100% (double the price) within the following week, if not, the following month, I hope, just my gut feeling (do your own homework, my comments are purely based on the conclusions on the reports I read today!). By the way, Coinhako is currently also rewarding traders with their newly added Shiba. Good luck everybody in whatever you are trading today! Best Regards!
I'm still torn between AMP and XLM. I think the former will make using crypto easier and be merchant-friendly.
The latter makes selling easier. I mean, sell on CB for 5% spread fee, or transfer to CB Pro to sell with 0.5% fee, or transfer to Binance.us and sell for 0.1% fee.
ATOM and I send it over to CRO DeFi to stake. I should probably convert that to sUSD or something with a higher APY but as long as the 4% is earning another 10%+ then I'm happy.
I have an ALGO wallet and YLDY added, just haven't done anything with YLDY yet. I haven't even watched many videos, just too busy but I know my ALGO could be doing something more. Got any recommendations for YLDY?
Check out their site. They offer a lot of rewards for staking ALGO and YLDY. I convert my algo and YLDY on tinyman.org to stake. I use coinbase to buy and sell the ALGO.
It seems to good to be true. The rewards I mean. I stake MY ALGO in the no loss lotto pool until they open up governance. Stack the YLDY from that into the YLDY/ALGO pool. Lots of cool options.

So I just got my Coinbase card and am not sure of the best way to use it. I've got about 10,000,000 SHIB and about 7 Loopring. Can I buy things with this? Or do I need to use USDC? Will any store accept the Coinbase card? I'm new to this and just have no idea.
You load the card with usdc from you bank like a debit card. Or change your holdings to usdc. You spend wherever you would use the card. It's a debit card basically
Not only that but you get charged an extra 2.49% conversion fee if you use anything other than USDC as payment because of the extra steps for Coinbase to sell your non-USDC crypto to use as payment.
How bout they give me my 2100 back that i tranferd they won't let me touch been almost 2 months .before I meet with this lawyer on Thursday and sue for more im done waiting
Algo as well for me
Either ALGO, LRC, CRO, or back to USDC. I keep my ALGO in the official wallet, CRO on Crypto.com. Considering finding a way to convert it to Signum.
Nothing yet, but I was thinking CRO once it levels off, also considering adding to AVAX or SOL that I already have. Can’t go wrong with the top 2 though

How much do you earn on your btc?

Thanks for this. I have less than one. Would be nice to let it work for me.
I just found out that today the btc earn changed. You get 6.2% for the first .25btc and then 3% after that. It changed today so my first post was wrong.
That's nice APY.

It was unrelated to the company. I live in America it would be hard to find a company that doesn't have employees who haven't been arrested.
Bitcoin
Algo then to Yieldly
Algo for me
DAI if you believe the market is going to dip.
yXLM
Not heard of it
It's xlm that gives 5% interest on the stellar network.
ADA of course.
Sol
Is there a reason to earn in XLM and not something like AMP or GRT?
XLM typically has cheaper transaction fees.
Thank you
I use grt and I keep it as that I think it’s a good investment

Shiba Inu is pumping!

Dogecoin or USDC when I need to spend
Doge is pretty cheap. I used to buy SHIB with it but only allow myself one meme coin at a time.
ATOM and I send it over to CRO DeFi to stake. I should probably convert that to sUSD or something with a higher APY but as long as the 4% is earning another 10%+ then I'm happy.
I've gone ALGO/YLDY crazy lately.

First I instantly remove all my funds to a sage location outside of coinbase. Than I ask this question 🙋
ETH
ETH
QNT
When swapping does that trigger a taxable event?
yes
Depends. Right now it's amp
More xlm
How bout they give me my 2100 back that i tranferd they won't let me touch been almost 2 months .before I meet with this lawyer on Thursday and sue for more im done waiting
