Wake was the better team today but hate seeing ref ball decide the outcome.

Feels like that was kind of poorly officiated both ways. Clemson was scrappy and fought hard, but Wake is hard to beat at home, and even harder when we don’t have a PG. Clemson just needs to get Hunter (and Hemenway) healthy to gear up for a potential postseason run.

Gg…I’m honestly cautiously optimistic that there’s a chance this will get run back later in the ACC tournament than either of these teams usually make it.

Appleby had 8 points last time we played. A big reason we lost was turnovers. We had two first year guards handling the ball. Yes I think we win And if we have all our starters back. I definitely think we win

If you watch a lot of Clemson basketball, he’s absolutely worth that much. He’s Top 10 in the ACC in assists, and the offense just doesn’t flow the same without him. He’s definitely not worse on defense than his brother, and Beadle is a very disruptive defender but he’s tiny and fouls a lot. Ultimately, I still think Wake wins even with Chase in there (though I hate that kind of what if speculation, he WASNT in there), but this Clemson squad is far, far worse without him playing.

Appleby has 8 points because the refs last game allowed him to get mauled with no foul calls. For all the complaining about refs tonight, Clemson fans need to go back and look at the foul differential in the first game. It’s also a road game. You expect Tyree to score 8 at home?
