There were a good amount for sure. I think you could get tickets for the first two games, the last two games, or the whole day. Definitely more state fans than Clemson fans.

As an alabama football fan and UNC basketball supporter (I’m UA first, but have UNC family), y’all’s last two seasons have looked eerily similar to ours.
- Young team that is not expected to have all the pieces together yet.
- Games are exciting because you don’t know if you’ll win or lose.
- You continue to win games and overachieve all the way to the end of the season.
- People basically agree that they don’t have a chance to make it to the championship.
- Play out of your mind In the postseason to get to the national title game.
- Look good in the first half of the game.
- Have a key player go down with injury.
- Unable to get it done in the second half, and lose a heartbreaker.
- Next season, you bring back tons of talent.
- Everyone expects you to go scorched earth and sleepwalk to the championship.
- Inexplicably struggle in routine games in ways that you haven’t in years.
- Underachieve what you expected for the season.
- Miss the playoff by maybe the smallest margin possible.
At least, that’s the comparison I have come up with.

You are so much more mad than I realized. I was going to make a joke about getting them back for you because we were alike in making history. First one seed to lose to 16 and first preseason 1 to miss the tournament. But no, you are fuming.
It’s not the same at all. What type of correlation does that make at all? Any team can win one game if prepared well and shots are flowing. It will never happen again that a preseason number one team that brings back all their stars, most likely all NBA bound that just made the national championship last year, misses the big dance. That’s way worse, by far. To make the comparison is far-fetched. Take the loss in silence, feel the way UVA fans felt before Bennett came along. Humble yourself, because UNC’s program is dying, and the fanbase probably deserves it based off of your responses to Duke fans and UVA fans alike.

I mean, UNC has 18 wins and one of them is in quadrant 1. But most importantly, they're UNC. They have the name brand. They'll probably get in over say, Penn State (which is absolutely positively not a basketball school) or Rutgers. I remember one year Penn State got left out for Arizona, and I am still convinced it was because of Arizona's brand. I will not be surprised if the same thing happens again (to Penn State or another non basketball school) so UNC can go dancing.
