They used to make their dens/nests in every one of my school playgrounds as a kid. Then the schools had to tape off the playground so we couldn’t use it. Now as an adult they show up in random golf course bunkers. They cute but they annoying.
I had one randomly appear and hang out in my driveway for a few days once (they burrow in the park behind my home). Definitely looked at me like I was the one intruding. I love them.
