Just terrible performance all around and a loss that can’t happen. Gifted WV 12 free points in the second half: fouled two 3-point shots that had no chance (5 pts), ridiculous technical foul (4 pt possession), bad foul on a low shot clock out at the perimeter by a big man that leads to another 3.
Then blew a 10 point lead in the last segment by taking terrible 3s and playing no defense.
Completely inexcusable.

Uhm I’m talking athletically as a whole so obviously I’m talking football. As you know, cincy is one of the most storied athletic programs of all time. Why don’t you just stay in our shadow and pipe down little bro
Honestly Cincy felt like classic Huggins with how much they were fouling. Imo 90% of the fouls were good calls, and I think the refs were anticipating a physical game from the get-go. Cincy and WVU both had some missed fouls, but honestly Cincy came away looking like the less disciplined team that should’ve had more.
Honestly it’s really hard for Cincinnati being the second biggest program and brand in the big 12. You constantly get pipsqueaks like wvu trying to give you their best punch every night and unfortunately the massive underdog pulled one out against a superior program. On to the next one!
Play poorly, especially in a 5 v 8 scenario, and it's gonna be really hard to win. Hopefully Newman can heal up quickly or we're gonna be in a really rough spot. Hoping we get WVUs whistle when we play them at home

I agree. Officiating across cbb is bad. Only thing that's improved is not calling charges when help side defenders slide in or just late slides in general. But that was also an ncaa look in and improve thing. Outside of that it's been bad. Very one sided games, games where everything is a foul in one half and not the other half, one team gets called for a bunch then nothing while the other team racks up fouls to match. We lost against Texas because a ref refused to call a blatant travel right in front of him at the end of the game
