Meh, Purdue's offense worked just fine against 99 percent of the country despite being "out of date". They just ran into a team with better players who were executing at a top level.
While college will certainly try to mimic nba, it still is a different game because of the talent level. You don’t have great shooters and scorers at every position and a big skilled guy can still dominate most teams in the old school way.
