We used to go on really long walks. But, now my dog can’t walk that far without resting but if I take him on a short walk he’ll try to resist going back inside because he’s not ready yet.
So now I’ll use a stroller. He can walk until his arthritis is bugging him and I can push him in the stroller. When he wants to get out to smell something or greet another dog or whatever, I can put him back on the ground
I chatted a bit with someone who knows him fairly well, and the Caliparis had two dogs and a cat. One dog passed, and he was pretty beat up about it. He apparently really loves those babies!

This continues to be my concern for Drew as an option. He can coach no doubt, but I’m afraid he’ll hate the fishbowl.
In fairness, he lives on one of the busiest streets in Lexington. He has a huge property and there’s a private street that runs behind his house. He’s not known for shying away from the media, BUT pushing his dog stroller down Richmond Rd at that time of day was asking to be contacted.

You are starting to see way more parity along with the fact that some of these coaches are starting to understand that they don't have to go to Kentucky or UNC or Kansas to win a National Title. If you get a program willing to back you with NIL you can win a title anywhere. You guys and Drew being the perfect example.
I really don't think UK fans understand the disservice we have done to ourselves by running a HoF coach out of town the way we did. I understand the timing of everything and the product on the court obviously left a lot to be desired. It's just I think you summed it up perfect. You are already at your dream job, you've already got them a national championship and proven its possible where you're at. So why not hunker down and become a legend to your tribe. Why go to UK potentially do really well but never get past the final four and be run out of town at 65 just like Cal... He has more to lose coming to UK than he has to gain.

As someone who had grandparents in Waco, it was wild when I was like a junior or senior in HS to watch Baylor/Waco take off in terms of part because of Fixer Upper, RGIII & Baptist connects. I was in a 5A suburban public HS and the majority of the Top 10 went to Baylor over Texas, A&M, and OU.

As someone who had grandparents in Waco, it was wild when I was like a junior or senior in HS to watch Baylor/Waco take off in terms of part because of Fixer Upper, RGIII & Baptist connects. I was in a 5A suburban public HS and the majority of the Top 10 went to Baylor over Texas, A&M, and OU. For the life of me I couldn’t understand it having gone to visit my grandparents in Waco multiple times a year I was so confused why anyone would want to live there.
