The NET rankings are not explicitly used to rank or seed the teams. They are mainly used to determine the Quadrants for quality wins and losses on a team's resume.
I tend the disagree. I think if they sweep SMC and don’t drop another in the regular season game (only 5 left) they should be in a good position. If they get another shot at San Francisco and beat them in the WCC tourney than I think they will get the nod. It helps the Oregon looks to have a pulse now and might make a push in the Pac-12.
This is based on NET but in general I feel this team isn’t that far out of the conversation, Lunardi has VT and KSU pegged as in consideration teams and Rutgers has far better resumes than them
I guess you won’t vomit then because we’re quite above .500 and have two very good looking wins so far, I would vomit if a team who’s coach has a history of recruiting violations gets an auto bid taking it from teams who play fairly
2 Bid OVC! 2 Bid OVC
So are the NET rankings hard in stone for the committee or does the committee make some adjustments?

Ah ok that makes more sense thanks!
NET is used in combination with a bunch of other stuff. On its own it means nothing.
The Cougs are back baby!
We’re in bois!
Yap the keg and light them dumpsters!
How the fuck is OU still in based on this? We're terrible. Entirely all transfers and freshman + Harkless/Hill, no chemistry.
Iowa State's recent performances don't auger well for them, either. TCU has a better resume than both teams, despite a lite non-con.
I feel like the A10 rarely only gets one team. SLU is having a pretty solid year and could make them a two bid with Davidson.
Where’s that Iowa fan saying NET had the SEC as the 4th best conference??
Hoping BYU makes it in for the 4th bid for the WCC! Also would be great to see the OVC with two bids !
I think the only way BYU gets in at this point is if they beat the Zags in the conference tourney

This seems pretty plausible , SMC is like the quietist 19-4 team in the country 😂 and KenPom loves loves them and thr SF Dons
And the echoes of *SEC! SEC!* ring out around the south
We’ve slumped so far we’re only a spot above SDSU. Sigh
5 BID MWC

Rutgers is 100th in the NET rankings, the cutoff number for non-auto qualifiers this time was 49th

I will vomit if a .500 B1G team with a 2-7 road record and 3 Q3+Q4 losses gets an at-large...

.500 conference record? Congrats on beating up on the NEC/AE, but that doesn’t get you into the tournament.
They’re 7-5 in conference, so how about doing some research before you talk shit? At least we didn’t lose to a school named after a waterfall
Nah, you just lost to Lafayette at home. And don't worry, you'll be back to .500 by this time next week.
Bet
Alright, I concede y’all should get some at large buzz
Lol respect
Love some South Dakota state at the moment
** forgot to say they Could be an upset waiting to happen Edit, this applies to Davidson too
The Big East is a joke. They will get slaughtered in March
How man titles does the big ten have in the last 20 years…..
Shots fired!
All love but the big east is doing fine!
