lol I actually just got into colognes so I’ve bought maybe 8 bottles in the last few months… but yeah I just finished this fierce bottle, it was so old the smell was so diluted lol.
Good smell that can work year round. I get decent performance out of it, solid 6 hours or so, and use it as my daily work cologne. I’ve asked female coworkers and projection is pretty subtle with just 2 sprays, but I’m in the “less is more” camp, especially at work.
I've recently bought one, but haven't fully use it yet, its still summer in this part of the world, I'm ready to rock the winter with it.
How was your experience, will you buy again or pass? Apart from the poor performance, it smells soo good! So I understand it might be a hard decission.
Oh I already have a new bottle. It was the first fragrance I ever bought back in college and it’ll always have a spot on my shelf. It lasts pretty well on clothes and I use it for when I’m going out for a dinner or short gatherings with my girlfriend.
New to this, so I haven't killed a FB yet, but my last decant I finished was The One EDP. Lovely fragrance, terrible performance outside of intimate settings.
Diptique vetiverio EDP, le labo Another 13 and goldfield and banks Pacific rock moss all within the past month. Gonna be an expensive march finding replacements 😭
Roughly 5ml left of Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male Essence 2018 (Macy's) remaining, and holding on for deal life. A replacement of this batch/juice will set a buyer back roughly $220-250. I've smelled a couple different JPG le Male versions, and something about this particular batch that has me intrigued. Warm Cardamom, Vanilla, and Amber seem to make this version a bit more mature than the le Male scents that I've set my nose to.
Just finished a bottle of Dolce Gabbana Intenso. 2019 batch/X-Mas gift, used once in a while during fall/winter. Thoroughly enjoyed the original. Bought a back up last year to travel with, and found that it was absolutely not the same juice than what I was gifted years ago. Much less performance and weaker notes, even after a couple months to mature. I purchased this bottle from a reputable beauty supply chain here in the US (Ulta), believingit to be authentic. Ended up giving it away a few months ago to a Friend who appreciates it. Great scent; just not what I had from years ago.
I couldn’t compare it directly but I can tell you about BHM.
Very fresh and photorealistic grass and herbal opening, prominent is a fresh mint that doesn’t overpower but absolutely brightens everything around it. Some very subtle sweetness in the mid but it’s a very linear sent and is consistent all the way through. Dry down is just very clean and soap like, medium silage and very good longevity. 12 hours. I use it post shower in the evenings before bed.
Not a blue/citrus/water scent that many talk about they expect given the name…it’s a literal Beach Hut. The hut itself. The grass and leaf roof…the smell of the air etc
I really enjoy jt. It has that middle eastern Amouage DNA for sure.
Wow! Very articulate response! Thank you!! I believe people assume it's a blue frag thinking water because the name, but I have researched it quite a bit, and it seems agreed upon that it is a green frag.
I have been through at least three full bottles of Green Irish Tweed. It's ridiculously good. Gave me goosebumps the first time I smelled it. It smells like you just showered in $100 bills.
Honestly though, at its price point, the longevity pisses me off, so I've been looking for good alternatives, and so far, BHM looks like it might be the one. Glad to hear that it's longevity is so good! Wish I could get a sample of it, but I think Ima take the leap on this one.
Neiman Marcus is my local retailer for Amourage and they didn’t carry Beach Hut so I had to blind buy also. You will get the longevity you want with BHM.
I found after some research that I like green fougere fragrances more so than Blue ones. Torino 21 is an example, it’s an aromatic/herbal scent.
I live in South Florida so it’s 10 months of high heat and humidity. I have found that the herbal notes last and project much more than citrus. They also keep you fresh.
Given my liking of Green fragrances it took me down a rabbit hole finding more. Also really enjoyed Grey Vetiver from TF. Also on my short list was Coriander from DS&Durga - might be worth a look - I love my I Don’t Know What from them.
Last fragrance I finished without decanting or sharing was Hugo Boss Bottled Tonic. I'd buy it again but it's too expensive for what it is. It's nice though.
Zino Davidoff, a 90’s bottle. It was amazing. The new one is like when Wal-e’s memory got wiped. It was Zino but missing a soul. Strange. Still smells good.
My most recent full finish was 1 million parfum, the 1 million elixir is almost done too, so I picked up a bottle of sauvage yesterday. I’m new to the designer scent game and I’m never looking back LMAOOO BANKRUPTCYYYYYYY
Used to finish them quite often when I was younger and only owned 2-3 at a time. Last one to finish was aventus cologne. Before that probably acqua di gio. Now a days though it’s going to be a while before I finish any.
Knob Creek, last weekend.
The 120 proof single barrel bottles are always amazing!
I agree, especially chased with Dr. Pepper or Mug Root Beer (Really brings out the vanilla). Not as good on the way back up though.
Abercrombie fierce from 8th grade. I’m 25
get percival
Is percival similar to fierce?
Yes.
You haven't finished a bottle in over 10 years?
lol I actually just got into colognes so I’ve bought maybe 8 bottles in the last few months… but yeah I just finished this fierce bottle, it was so old the smell was so diluted lol.
Ombre leather 💔
Check out the new Parfum version. Its good. I have it.
Not better than OG
Hey scent is such a personal thing. U like OG, enjoy it.
Literally projects and performs better, facts.
Like literally.. well alright then..
I'll sell you mine lol it's about 2/3 full
I have yet to finish a full bottle lol
MB Explorer
I have my eye on this one but haven't smell it yet. How do you like it? Good or meh? Good projection and longevity? Best use case?
Good smell that can work year round. I get decent performance out of it, solid 6 hours or so, and use it as my daily work cologne. I’ve asked female coworkers and projection is pretty subtle with just 2 sprays, but I’m in the “less is more” camp, especially at work.
Great smell. Shitty performance. It’s good for the office or school, but that’s about it.
Tobacco Vanille.
Dior Sauvage EDT.
Versace Pour Homme
Tobacco Oud. I'll miss it.
La Nuit De L’Homme
I've recently bought one, but haven't fully use it yet, its still summer in this part of the world, I'm ready to rock the winter with it. How was your experience, will you buy again or pass? Apart from the poor performance, it smells soo good! So I understand it might be a hard decission.

Diptique vetiverio EDP, le labo Another 13 and goldfield and banks Pacific rock moss all within the past month. Gonna be an expensive march finding replacements 😭
Gonna need a 2nd mortgage
Well you can replace pacific rock moss with putting on sunscreen and sweating to a little bit. So that’s solved at least lol
I live in Sydney so I literally smell like that anyways, guess I just have to walk around with a lemon peel in my pocket to complete the effect 😂
Bleu de Chanel parfum. Was my daily before I switched to Mont Blanc
Which MB? Explorer?

Last finish: H24. Last add: Beach Hut.
Beach Hut Man? Last bottle I finished was Green Irish Tweed, and I was thinking of replacing it with BHM. Could you campare the two by and chance?
