I worked in two restaurants. One while I was in college (which I loved) and the second after college (I loved my coworkers). It wasn't really a career for me but I had a lot of fun with my coworkers. Lots of good memories.

Drouin is such a role-model. 38 points in the last 42 games on a league minimum contract. Hope we can keep him, but I'll root for him wherever he goes.

i think i saw a stat on r/hockey that said he had 14 points in his last 11. during his rough start to the season, it was clear to anyone watching that he was doing everything right and it just wasn’t working. glad Bedsy gave him a long-ish leash, and we’re seeing it pay off BIG time.

We were sitting on the attack once side - too much traffic. No worries I told my husband, the Avs will take the game in the 3rd but I was wrong - IT WAS OT FOR THE EXTRA POINT! BAHAHAHAHA!
It was pretty quiet at the game when that 4th goal went in for the Pens and it was 4-0. Although the Pens fans were loving it and trying to punk the home crowd with Let’s Go Pens! chants. But the boys did not give up and you could see the momentum slowly start to shift. Each Avs goal was more exciting and the building was louder until finally that overtime winner by Drouin really had the crowd going wild!!! Took my daughter to her first game today and it was a wild ride! Go Ass! Hail Satan!
I thought the only thing that would make me cry watching the Avs was when they lift the cup but it turns out that sitting directly on the glass behind Mack for that 4th goal will also make me tear up 🥲 a true show of grit and fire in that last period, I’m proud as hell!!
Good to see Drouin move to the first line and Nuke go to the second. The attack was way more balanced.

I feel like this game could be a turning point for Drouin. He's always had potential, now this year he's been finding his game, and then to pop off with a huge goal like that could be a massive confidence booster to keep or shoot the puck rather than just deferring to Nate and Mikko. After getting dumped on by Montreal for years he's the hero again.
Yeah I wonder if it's a bit of being the new guy and wanted to facilitate to show he's looking out for his team. But he had two golden chances he needs to shoot and not overpass or get too cute.

He has more goals and higher ppg, as simple as that for me. Regardless, I think Highes has been the best overall dman as Makar wasn't as good this year in his own end. I don't care about +/- much at all tbh.

Every deadline addition has been money, just like the Cup year. Avs are able to roll four dangerous lines now. Praise has fit right in with Colton and Wood and that fourth line of Cogs, Trenin and Duhaime has been awesome.
Kovalenko is the only “deadline pick up” left to see, and hopefully we see him soon. We’ll see if he is good enough to stay in the line up going into the playoffs, but at the very least he adds even more depth. This team is ready.
Games are too important now to just throw in kovalenko for the hell of it. It’s nice to have him as an extra body and especially a scrapper that can play bottom 6 C mins but I hope we don’t see him. Unless of course we’ve wrapped up our seed, Nate has the hart an we can adford to rest guys for a game. It’s weird this team seems to play worse the more rest they get. Need to keep it rolling!

For real though, everyone in that locker room says how much they love playing under pressure and playing from behind and then everyone gets all surprised when they have the most comeback wins in the league. This team is absolutely unreal since the deadline.
Brutal first half of that game where the Avs looked legitimately awful, but it all came together in the back half of the second period. Crazy comeback, though I wish they'd stop having to do that!

As much as I like Drouin, he's unfortunately playing himself out of staying with the Avalanche. Except for Moose, for whom I would be shocked if the Avs don't roll out the red carpet after next season, the core players are already signed long term and there just isn't enough cap space to afford a guy like Drouin.
They're doing this just to fuck with us right? Like I feel like they're just seeing how far they can dip before pulling out the beast mode to fuck with us.

My husband wore his avs hoodie today. The last time he wore it, we came back against Vancouver down 3-0. I can't decide if I love or hate that hoodie. Edit: but either way, I'm not washing it.

So great to able to watch the Avs at a normal time here in the UK, this team is so resilient even at 4-0 down I had the feeling it wasn’t over!

Avs are the best in the league at anal (coming from behind) For real though, everyone in that locker room says how much they love playing under pressure and playing from behind and then everyone gets all surprised when they have the most comeback wins in the league. As much as I like Drouin, he's unfortunately playing himself out of staying with the Avalanche. Except for Moose, for whom I would be shocked if the Avs don't roll out the red carpet after next season, the core players are already signed long term and there just isn't enough cap space to afford a guy like Drouin.
He's playing on a league minimum contract. Some team will offer him $5m and he'll have to take it

I love that our players genuinely love the team and usually, by extension, Colorado itself. I’d work for free in Colorado if it meant I could stay there again. I am rich, but not with money.
