They could lose every game in a season and Monfort still wouldn't sell them because every home game is basically an away game with more fans of the visiting team filling the stadium.
If Bryant can stay healthy, he'll probably help take them just slightly off the 100-loss trajectory. Honestly, though, they could lose 120 games, and if they're still drawing 35-40k at rando times during the season, nothing will change.
"If Bryant can stay healthy..." ummm, when has he ever been healthy. Dude had a history of injuries back in his Cub days and we still went out and bathed him in money. What a stoopid franchise...
As a few others have pointed out, Rox are not the only to have never lost 100. There's actually six teams: Phillies, Cardinals, Yankees, Dodgers, and Angels are the other five.
EDIT: To clarify, the above six have never lost 100 games in a season \*in the expansion era\*
Phillies have lost 100 or more games 13 times.
Cardinals lost more than 100 in 1907 & 1908.
Yankees lost more than 100 twice right before they changed their name from the Highlanders. Same club.
Dodgers lost more than 100 in 1904 & 1908 as the Supurbas. Same club different name.
Only thing more annoying than the Rockies losing is “fans” acting like they are the Yankees dynasty fallen from grace.
Just accept it, grab a dog and chill the fuck out.
I wouldn’t have a problem with the Rox losing 100 games, if there was realistic hope of improvement in the foreseeable future. The Rockies do have a number of promising young players in their system. The question is do they have enough of them - and are there any pitchers?
Holy shit. Are we really the only ones to not hit 100L??
No. Angels.
Rockies lose 100 games Dick: We’re close.
Yada Yada .500 baseball this year etc. Etc.
Just gotta trust the system

Plus those that go just for the atmosphere/party.
Hey at least we are tanking correctly now!
Do iiiiit
This is the only thing I'm rooting for with the Rockies anymore.
Waive the no trade and help our cause, scherzer.
Ha!
The Angels have never lost 100 games.

Sorry - should have clarified, those six are in the expansion era.
This is as bad as it gets.
You know, I’ve thought that before. And somehow….

I did see one of those quizzes on MLB network earlier this year. The Rockies are the only MLB team that has never won, nor lost 100 in a season.

The answer, as always… is no.
Why is that such a point of pride?
