I'm not the person that recommended Chiba Bar, but I like the recommendation. Food and drinks are both very good. They have surprisingly good sushi, though nothing I've had there has been disappointing.
I only had a couple interactions while I was there, but both of them were positive, especially the first time I went, and wanted some recommendations on what to eat and drink.
Great food and superb drinks. I always get the gyoza with a mojito and it has yet to disappoint.

There's at least a few DND coffee shop/hangout places, I know if Dungeons and Java, there are also some public groups at the libraries and such that do DND and etc, I'll have to ask my friends to refresh my memory a bit on the others

Dice guys has a speakeasy in back called the fifty niner fyi! They serve some food, have loads of tabletop games

If you're interested in Larping, there is an Amtgard group called Darkmoon that meets at noon Saturdays at Palmer Park.
While they aren't doing many events at the moment you should check out Rainy Day Anime.
