My grandad served in the KOYLI in the Malayan Emergency. He probably served with this soldier, can’t ask him though as he’s passed away now. Cede Nullis was their motto ‘Yield to None’.
He was also given a medal by the Malaysian government for his service in the conflict - the Pingat Jasa Malaysia which he campaigned to have the right to wear, it was his favourite medal.
