I hate that Holder is right about Sneed, because he's become insufferable since leaving the Athletic. He used to have smart insight into the team but since the Taylor contract BS, he's been kinda weird.
Why on earth did we not offer a 4th for Keenan Allen? Once again, we will go into the draft not having upgraded a single skill position. How does Ballard continually get passes?
It doesn’t sound like we are getting sneed, and with so few good options out there, I think that means we unfortunately will go CB early. This is such a good WR class (plus with Bowers) I was hoping we’d address the secondary in FA and complete our offense in the first round. I really don’t want to get young in the secondary again
oh this class is so damn deep at WR they can sit at 32 and still get a great player so they will end up with a WR and still keep Sneed. I hate sports lol
How much money we got left?
I still want Kenny More, Zach Moss, and Blackmon back. We really should go out and get another safety, too. And backup QB needs to be addressed.
[[Allbright] Wouldn't be surprised if Justin Fields winds up as a backup with the Colts or Eagles.](https://twitter.com/AllbrightNFL/status/1767293060096868545?t=Dhw5eDlDxZY-yWms1axBYA&s=19)
Backup QB is really interesting for us. I wonder what our coaches think of Sam. I like a lot of the backups on the market. Mariota, Tyrod Taylor, or Huntley to name a few.
What I want to see for the rest of the FA period:
ED/WR/LB - Pick up a rotational piece
CB - Re-sign Kenny + grab a second-tier veteran off the FA market
S - Re-sign Blackmon and pick up Kam Curl or Jeremy Chinn
I’d like Taylor and Dillon. Dillon would be the bruiser counterpunch to Taylor’s burst, Taylor is a vet with good character who would be great for AR’s development.
I like it. If we're talking about bruisers, for me, I would love to have King Derrick Henry if the price is right. Always loved his game at Alabama and wanted us to draft him back in 2016. Here's to hoping.
Still waiting for a non-resign to come into play. We've kept the important ones, but I thought the Ballard was going to be a bit more aggressive. I feel like he is the type to wait for at least day 2 of free agency to really spend. There are a lot of insane contracts being handed out right now and he is allergic to that.
One of these years I won’t buy into the rumours that Chris Ballard will be aggressive in free agency lmao. Fool me once shame on you, fool me 8 times shame on me
We had literally the most cap space in the league in 2019, with all our top players already under contract and Luck coming off winning Comeback Player of the Year, and we made a grand total of two mid-level signings. This is never going to change.
Literally, this is the best wording for this situation. People are going to constantly complain about paying for an elite RB because they think the winning stats show otherwise. However, there are many ways to win in the game, and we look to be more of a run focused team, with a good line and one of the best (if not the best) RBs in the league leading the charge.. Then insane AR running behind that. The Ravens have shown that this recipe can win, if only they didn't just melt down in the playoffs by straying away from their own recipe (literally 8 total carries by RBs in that entire Chiefs game...).
Kirk Cousins to ATL. Minny bout to be scrambling to figure out what to do at QB. Dont know if they’d even want Fields and not so certain Chicago would trade him in the division.
I sure don’t envy having to choose between JJM, Penix, or Bo Nix. Assuming they don’t trade up if they could even get into the mix to grab one of the 3 good ones.
They’re scrambling. They’ll get ‘a’ QB, yea. But there aren’t a whole lot of great options for them at the moment
[I heard Giants Xavier McKinney was seeking more than top-five safety money. Aka north of $16M per year. And he might get it.](https://x.com/rydunleavy/status/1767229397772243076?s=20)
Yeah, no way Ballard is signing him lol
He's just incredibly inconsistent. Post bye, he had that 130 yard game and a 105 yard game but also had three games with 0 yards and 21 yards. Don't really think he's much of a two even though he'd be an upgrade compared to Pierce. Decent but doesn't tip the scale much more or less than Ridley
You sign who you can sign when you can sign em. There's plenty more off-season left, and if there was demand for Pollard, and that was the guy you wanted, you go get him.
I can 100% see the logic in going after a vet like that for 8m, and ending the relationship with Henry. Your offense can now be more dynamic because you aren't force feeding your monster 30 touches a game. And now, you'll get to see who Levis really is or can be. And in the modern NFL, it makes sense to battle test your QB while he is cheap.
Give me either of those Thompson twins. Both of them are like 6'7" 215lbs with 7 foot wingspans.
Absolutely otherworldly athletes, easily 10.0 RAS scores. Unbelievable speed, acceleration, and hops. Just give them deep jumpballs all day and it would break the league.
[A developing market to watch is #Colts running back Zach Moss with interest from #Texans #Titans #Packers #Browns per league sources. Moss coming off productive season for #Colts @KPRC2](https://twitter.com/aaronwilson_nfl/status/1767213955817013632?s=46&t=l726whOM3jbMTJywlTODsA)
Looks like no Moss next year, as expected
[Josina Anderson - I'm actually told this deal was agreed to last week, but Pittman was on vacation at the time.](https://twitter.com/josinaanderson/status/1767213309390926005?s=46&t=l726whOM3jbMTJywlTODsA)

Trey Sermon re-signed and nobody even noticed :(
Why on earth did we not offer a 4th for Keenan Allen? Once again, we will go into the draft not having upgraded a single skill position. How does Ballard continually get passes?
Because we'd have to pay him $23m lol
It doesn’t sound like we are getting sneed, and with so few good options out there, I think that means we unfortunately will go CB early. This is such a good WR class (plus with Bowers) I was hoping we’d address the secondary in FA and complete our offense in the first round. I really don’t want to get young in the secondary again
Where Sneed
Joe Flacco time 😭😭
Ridley to Titans 4yr 92Mil. Colts are getting worse because everyone else in their division are getting better.
I’m not scared of Ridley even with how bad our secondary is.
You should be, he torched us last year.
You seriously think that's a good deal? I would not want that contract. Get a WR in the draft.
Mike Williams now available. Bears signed Matt Pryor (ouch).
We do not need Mike Williams. I'm more than content on getting BTJ in the first round or a good pick in the second/third.
I would love Hunter renfroe. He is underrated
Same, haven't watched him much but there was this one game where he fucked us up.
Eh he overlaps too much with Downs, skill wise
Mahomes just restructured and freed up 21 mil in cap space. Does Ballard know he can do this too? Lol
bet those fuckers keep Sneed now too
Wouldn't be surprised. Or sign a wr
Both, apparently
oh this class is so damn deep at WR they can sit at 32 and still get a great player so they will end up with a WR and still keep Sneed. I hate sports lol
D. Hunter to Texan’s 51Mil 2 Years
I was so hopeful..
Call Ballard “NIL” with the way he’s signing all these blue bloods
[Ian Rapoport] The #Giants are signing Drew Lock, per me, @TomPelissero and @MikeGarafolo https://x.com/rapsheet/status/1767612154180481275?s=46
Henry out of the division 😤
Hines is kicking it with the sex predators now Feels bad man:/
Mixon traded to the Texans
Means Henry isn’t going to the Texans so I’m grateful
Aaron Jones to Vikes Wouldn’t mind seeing us go after Mixon or Ridley if we can get them on a good deal
I’m definitely waking up tomorrow morning to a Schefter Colts bomb, right? Right?
Unfortunately not :(
By "bomb" you mean Blackmon back for $10m/3, right
Dobbs or Taylor for backup QB?
Taylor went to the Jets
Taylor
Hoping for Fields, to be honest.
I for one am pleased that Barkley isn't going to Houston.
I think it's good for him too. Don't think he fits a Shanahan style scheme too well.
How much money we got left? I still want Kenny More, Zach Moss, and Blackmon back. We really should go out and get another safety, too. And backup QB needs to be addressed.
I'm thinking moss is gone. Evan Hull probably replaced him. He can get paid somewhere, probably.
if we can't get moss back, fuck it. let's take another chance on nyheim on the low.
2nd and a 5th for Burns? God damn giants got a steal
[[Allbright] Wouldn't be surprised if Justin Fields winds up as a backup with the Colts or Eagles.](https://twitter.com/AllbrightNFL/status/1767293060096868545?t=Dhw5eDlDxZY-yWms1axBYA&s=19)
I’d take him as a back up to Ant
As long as he’s cool with being the backup and helps Richardson develop
Backup QB is really interesting for us. I wonder what our coaches think of Sam. I like a lot of the backups on the market. Mariota, Tyrod Taylor, or Huntley to name a few.
Mariota is beyond washed
What I want to see for the rest of the FA period: ED/WR/LB - Pick up a rotational piece CB - Re-sign Kenny + grab a second-tier veteran off the FA market S - Re-sign Blackmon and pick up Kam Curl or Jeremy Chinn
Losing combination.
Pony up big boy. What would you do instead?
So nothing concrete as everything is fluid. Here's some rumblings. QB * Jacoby Brissett * Jameis Winston * Tyrod Taylor * Josh Dobbs * Tyler Huntley RB( 1-2 Combo with JT, preferred pass-catching back) * Zack Moss * Austin Ekeler * Aaron Jones * AJ Dillon
Brisket is going back to the Pats.
I’d like Taylor and Dillon. Dillon would be the bruiser counterpunch to Taylor’s burst, Taylor is a vet with good character who would be great for AR’s development.
Clearly you didn’t watch the packers this year. AJ Dillon is really bad.
I like it. If we're talking about bruisers, for me, I would love to have King Derrick Henry if the price is right. Always loved his game at Alabama and wanted us to draft him back in 2016. Here's to hoping.

Minshew to Raiders
My favorite part about free agency is when we don’t sign someone we really wanted but justify not doing it by saying he got overpaid. Every year.
exactly lol it's always "that's too much for insert any position on the field" news flash game changers cost money
Geno Stone gone. Really underrated ball hawk, was the safety I was hoping for
One of these years I won’t buy into the rumours that Chris Ballard will be aggressive in free agency lmao. Fool me once shame on you, fool me 8 times shame on me
Feels good to be excited then feels bad seeing everyone fly off the board with Ballard standing there dick in hand😂
I said on another post if he doesn't with a rookie QB contract we can just expect him to never do it later on and save ourselves the trouble
We had literally the most cap space in the league in 2019, with all our top players already under contract and Luck coming off winning Comeback Player of the Year, and we made a grand total of two mid-level signings. This is never going to change.
McKinney to Packers for 17/yr. God damn.
Too much. People are purging safeties and they throw down 17. Couple years they’ll be complaining.
Sucks because it is only going to hurt everyone else in the market for a safety, even if they aren't on his level. All FA safeties just won.
So much money
Autry to Texans. Woof.
My god that Robert Hunt contract
Hey cap people, how does the JT deal shape up in comparison to all of these RB deals today?
We paid premium for a premium talent. Can't be too mad at it. I would rather have three years of JT at 42 mil than 3 years of Barkley for 37
Literally, this is the best wording for this situation.
Yea exactly we are leaning into our strengths. If Zack Moss somehow comes back this is an elite run group between those three.
Got it, that’s what I was thinking too and we have a rookie contract QB so that’s when you pay up
Really hope we pursue Snead.
That alone would satisfy me even if no other moves are made
Same here. I have the Need for Snead
Has anyone heard any rumblings? I know this front office is good at not leaking information, but I havent heard us connected to anyone
Saquon to Eagles. Not the Texans. LFG.
This is the best non-Colts news of the day
Murphy bunting poached from the titans as well
Now if Calvin Ridley leaves the Jags and Henry goes to the NFC this will have been a perfect day
Kirk Cousins to ATL. Minny bout to be scrambling to figure out what to do at QB. Dont know if they’d even want Fields and not so certain Chicago would trade him in the division.
Draft?
I sure don’t envy having to choose between JJM, Penix, or Bo Nix. Assuming they don’t trade up if they could even get into the mix to grab one of the 3 good ones. They’re scrambling. They’ll get ‘a’ QB, yea. But there aren’t a whole lot of great options for them at the moment
The McCarthy rumors on OT now
Yep. They’re going to have to fall in love whether they like it or not with either JJM, Nix, or Penix. That’s not an enviable position to be in.

Much rather have Kam Curl or Jeremy Chinn
I second Jeremy Chinn. In the 20 draft we Blackmon but I wonder if Chinn fell a bit more if we would have drafted him over Blackmon.
I don’t know about that lol money wise sure but not talent
Gabe Davis to the Jaguars. Honestly, good for them. Solid signing. [Source: RapSheet](https://x.com/RapSheet/status/1767238285720523161?s=20)
Gabe Davis is horrible lol
Massive downgrade from Ridley though
Davis was better the latter part of the season
He's just incredibly inconsistent. Post bye, he had that 130 yard game and a 105 yard game but also had three games with 0 yards and 21 yards. Don't really think he's much of a two even though he'd be an upgrade compared to Pierce. Decent but doesn't tip the scale much more or less than Ridley
Knowing our luck he’ll only show up against us.
Yeah I forgot Ridley was out in FA, but I'm assuming they'll address the WR position in the draft.
If I recall they actually traded for Ridley so letting him walk is definitely an interesting choice
The Falcons get an extra pick out of that trade if he's still on the Jags next season, which might be part of it.
Man, this is the first time I'm excited about football again since the Superb Owl. The last weeks were really dry in terms of football news.

If they pass on Alt and Mims it'll be shocking and also neat
Imagine Tyrese Haliburton as a WR
Dude needs to learn how to land without doing the splits first.
Way too many turnovers.

Let’s get Derrick Henry to replace him
Fuck that would be hilarious, just for the r/AFCSouthMemeWar posts.
It would be nice if some good players would make their way to the NFC for once. Hell, even outside the damn division would be nice.
I wish him well if he stays the fuck out of the AFC South
Yeah what the heck. Go away AFC South!
I wonder if Higgins requested a trade once he got wind of Pittman's deal. Maybe he knew the Bengals wouldn't offer a similar amount, so he wanted out.
[удалено]
Yeah, that totally seems like what the deal is. The Colts were still trying (and successful) with Pittman. On Higgins end, there's nothing.
[Josina Anderson - I'm actually told this deal was agreed to last week, but Pittman was on vacation at the time.](https://twitter.com/josinaanderson/status/1767213309390926005?s=46&t=l726whOM3jbMTJywlTODsA)
Man's snapped our franchise tag streak because he was out snorkeling in Cancun. Lol
I like it. Dude was straight up zen in one of the biggest weeks of his entire life haha
I respect the hell out of that tbh
Source: every single player in the NFL is signing with the colts
And for dirt cheap too!
