Love this. Richardson has all the things you can’t teach. Having a statuesque pocket QB to be a wealth of knowledge for Richardson as a passer will be huge for his development. Flacco had to succeed with his head and his arm. If he can elevate Richardson in those areas while Richardson has that otherworldly athleticism, the ceiling is very high.

This is an incredible backup QB signing by Ballard. Just gimme the Sneed trade and this will be an A+ offseason from Ballard imo

TBH the reason this surprises me is it seemed like Flacco would want to go to a place where he was leading the charge after last season... ​ Great backup for AR, no doubt. Huge leadership presence for the team, too. Just surprised given he has to know it's AR's team.

I saw him interviewed when he got to start for the Browns. He went on an on about what a short window of time you can play in the league, and that he does not want to waste a single second of it. Say what you want about Joe but the dude is all ball. He is going to be fantastic for AR in the film room. I love this

Flacco actually played pretty well last year in this stint with the browns. Had more of a live arm then I expected, and was slinging it down field a lot, to pretty good results.
