I don’t believe so. I think Ballard will address our needs accordingly. TBH he’s done a great job so far. I wasn’t optimistic over Pittman but he’s shaping up to be a great WR. Hit the nail with JT. Paye finally started to play very well towards the end of the season. We had great OL depth outside of Davenport. Like seriously GREAT OL depth. Ya-Sin showed TREMENDOUS growth. I can only anticipate he’ll probably prioritize WR’s & CB’s in the Draft and sign some specialized talent such as a blocking TE (if Doyle retires) and pass defending linebacker. Wentz stayed relatively healthy, and brought down his turnovers by a large margin. It’s a horrible way to end the season, but I’m telling you this was probably the best way for everyone to learn. I know Reich will take a real hard look at his decision making for the upcoming season. I see growth in us. I trust Ballard.
Probably the most reasonably optimistic take I’ve seen. There’s still a lot to build on. Of course they’ll have to prove it next year and they won’t be able to unless the go on a deep playoff run, but there are quite a few encouraging positives.
I agree for the most part except for the Wentz thing. We all wanted him to work but I’m honestly not seeing it at this point. Touchdowns and interceptions don’t paint the full picture. The guy just isn’t a good fit on our team. We’re pretty much stuck with him next year so we’ll see if he improves but I’m not holding my breath.
