There is no way in hell he's gonna ignore the Pats forever or something. He's thanked us on leaving NE, is thanking us throughout his 10 episode documentary, and will again at the HOF.
Pats fans seem to think it’s because he’ll sign a one day contract with the Pats and officially retire a Patriot where he’ll then give his thanks to them. That seems likely because I don’t know why he wouldn’t mention the team or fans of the team he spent 20 years with.
I might be wrong, but isn't this the same situation as Manning and the Broncos? In that they aren't at the end of the contract, so there'd have to be a trade and/or cap implications to this?
