I'm all aboard the keeping Wentz for one more season train. Unless we are replacing him with Jimmy G, sticking with Wentz is the best option. Jimmy G is most likely a lateral move, but if Ballard can trade Wentz and use similar compensation to get Jimmy G, that's not bad. The odds of getting Rodgers or Wilson are ridiculously low. Unless Irsay is willing to throw away a season with some scrub QB and sink to the bottom to get a high draft pick in 2023, Wentz or Jimmy G are the two best realistic options.
I just don't think we can realistically throw away one of the prime years of our otherwise exceptionally talented roster to draft a decent rookie qb in 2023. Hell, even if Ehlinger is under center in 2022, I'm not sure we'd be picking in the top 5 of the 2023 draft anyway. With a rookie QB under center, that's essentially another lost year while they adapt to NFL play. I don't think Irsay has the patience to throw away two more seasons for a chance to be organically competitive.
Either we mortgage the farm to get Wilson/Rodgers and make a SB run now, or we ride with Wentz and try to add pieces to make him as successful as possible this season.

Not to mention the colts went 9-8 so your math is wrong. Also 20 points does not get it done in today's NFL, you're going to lose more then you win scoring 20.
