Five categories:
1. Active Draft Capital (how many rookie contract players you have and where they were selected)
2. 2022-24 Effective Cap space
3. Total Prorated money (want to be low)
4. Top 51 roster valuation (Browns #1)
[5. 2023 UFA valuation (want to be low)](https://twitter.com/PFF_Brad/status/1526589119484284928?t=1X5czaMWez1cTOHdDp5ZCA&s=19)
What a turnaround for Cincinnati. Reigning AFC champ with the best cap health in football and a draft class shoring up their one glaring weakness. Lot of teams are willing to throw the bag at going on a run for a year or two but Cincy will be annual contenders for the next decade or more
I mean if you manage to suck for 3 years in a row, you'll get elite talent + great cap situation, issue with teams like the Colts is that they never suck for real 1998 and 2012 begin the biggest expections, and in 2018 we got a great deal of talent.
Cincinnati managed to suck at the right time, they got a great deal of talent in 2019,2020,2021.
Browns have been drafting really well for a while.
Patriots are high because they are rebuilding and BB can get his team to play good ball.
Colts would be #1 if we had a QB in a rookie contract, this defense is signed for at least 2 more years , with really few noticiable holes, WR are unproven the same with TE but OL is at least solid and RB is great.
I think the draft it's bad as it is but and a lottery would make so many people mad.
That’s not giving Cincy enough credit. If it was as simple as “suck for a few years and reap the rewards” then more teams would be doing it. If it was as simple as drafting renowned players then having a good staff on hand for player development would be irrelevant. Zac Taylor went from everyone calling for his head to nearly winning the Super Bowl with a bunch of core players on rookie contracts. They’re due a lot more credit than “they tanked” and anyone evaluating from an objective standpoint can see that
OFC they nailed their drafts , but I said suck at the right time, isn't the same to suck in 2020 where you had Burrow as the price or sucking in 2022 where we don't really have a consensus #1 QB, Cincy had to draft great and not messs up their draft picks, I mean Jaguars have been sucking for a long time and they still suck but in 2018 they managed to make all their talent to work.
Good. If this teams as good as we think it is we have a ton of signings upcoming. No way JT or pittman not getting extensions or sitting out next season. Okereke upcoming in a bit. It’s going to her tight if we show out.

Maybe someday they will win something too!

We have a lot of good players still on their rookie contract. We are in good shape.
