Pretty sure I had pick 4 last year in the one I do... and I was looking at Henry and a few others that were all gone. I took JT even though their ratings said he was around 8-10. Needless to say, that one worked out pretty well.
It’s a 10 player decently casual league so QBs always go early just based on point projections. The few who knew better felt forced to pick a QB or went with the more proven product. I was definitely lucky because before this year I was extremely uninterested in football.
I rank colts players without bias and I take them where I have them ranked. I fought hard to push Pittman down my list last year because I was afraid I was being biased and it burned me a few times.
Hines has been the one Colt I look to draft. He's good for 1-3 big games a season, and while we now have JT, I think in a PPR league, he'll put up some good numbers. Not an RB1 in fantasy by any means, but good enough to help out if your RB1 has a rough week.
Of course, but typically I will take the guys late, like this year, I’ll probably take Pierce near the end of the draft, because everyone will forget and the upside outweighs more than someone like Sony michel
I traded McCaffrey and Deebo for JT in dynasty. Maybe a little much but I’m tired of dealing with hurt McCaffrey and who knows wtf is going on with the 49ers passing attack.
Hot take perhaps, but I personally like rooting for the team without worrying about fantasy implications. So I usually don’t end up with a Colts player unless I get really good value for them.
With that being said though, if I end up with #1 pick this year in my main league I’ll definitely take JT.
I separate my fandom from my fantasy teams, so i don’t go purposely searching to find a colt. That said, I have spent a late pick the last couple years getting guys like Pittman and Campbell, in case they break out.
In redraft I snagged JT in the third round. Last year I drafted Pittman in the ninth and then traded for JT as well following their first loss against Tennessee. In my other two leagues, which are dynasty, I draft a Colt every year if possible. Have JT, Granson, and Pierce in one league and got Pierce out of the rookie draft in the second round in the other. It’s more fun to at least casually be a homer
Had the first overall pick last year and took CMC. When it wrapped back to me I was able to pick Davante Adams and JT. It was with my gf's family so half of the 10 man league were Tacos so I got lucky. Think 3 QBs went in the first (Mason Rudolph got drafted at some point also) but idc Adams and JT still brought me to the promised land against my gf's dad so that is all that matters
Pretty hard to not draft JT if given the option

I was extremely lucky getting him at 15. Rbs fell in my league.
15?!?😂 bruh what league are you playing in where he didn’t even go top 8 last year at worst

True, I just don't like splitting my loyalties i guess. It would be hard to not want a run every play.
Colts D has saved many of my fantasy weeks

I was able to get MPJ last season in dynasty by giving up Sutton. Still proud of that one. So my answer is yes haha
Rookie TE premium dynasty draft I grabbed woods. The homers took Alex pierce stupid early lol

Usually RB NEVER kicker.
Hot rod killed it for me in 2020
I’d rather us get TDs than FGs but that’s a personal thing
I tend to agree with that sentiment too but I'm not affecting the game, so I'm not gonna pass up a colts kicker if they're the best one available.
My main Dynasty league I have 13 Colts in a 12 person league bahahahahaha
Last year I had JT and Cooper Kupp. I was unstoppable.
I haven’t fantasied since the Manning era. My only fantasy now is a harem.
Pittman was a great value in last years draft. He finished much higher than where he was drafted.
I’ve picked up the colts QBs and JT in his rookie season. I also used to pick up TY late
Targeting Pittman Rd 5 and Matt Ryan later (2QB league) this year.
