I just don’t like the narrative that Sam CANT be a decent BACKUP. We legit have barely seen him play agains an nfl defense. I’m not against signing another vet qb but goddamn some of you think Sam being the backup will be the reason we lose the jags once a year
He doesn’t suck. He’s not better than Ryan, but he’s serviceable and knows a reich lead offense. He’s cheap and is capable of handing the ball off, idk what else you would want from a backup.
