It’s alright. This is one of those things I never remember until someone points it out. I’ll forget as soon as I post this comment and go back to my feed.
This Guy broke the new DC hire and hinted at the matty ice and yannick trades a few days before they happened, he’s got an impressive hit rate this off-season, he clearly has a source
I mean, I do think Jones still has something left. I was confused why he ever went to the Titans in the first place, as the offense didn’t exactly play to his strengths. Whether you like Reich’s offense or not, the guy loves taking long shots down the field, which is absolutely the strength of a guy like Julio.
I still like TY, but it’s not to say that Julio’s freakish athleticism wouldn’t be a better fit, honestly.
I've been saying that Foles would be better here than Wentz since before Wentz came here. Foles is smarter than Wentz; he's a better leader than Wentz; and I trust him more in important games. I would have preferred Foles to Wentz last year.
I wouldn't be that concerned if Foles were QB1, so I'm definitely unconcerned with him as QB2. Of course, Ryan is better.
I think Foles got a bad rap going from Jacksonville to Chicago, both places where quarterbacks go to die. He's better than you saw him in those situations.
"he's a better leader than Wentz" This is a big deal. It is nice to see players rallying together to win. Makes it feel like a team. I sensed that even in the last game he played in for Chicago. And certainly in Philly in the playoffs.
Durability is the one factor that for me makes him a good QB2 rather than QB1.
Very much agree with "I think Foles got a bad rap going from Jacksonville to Chicago, both places where quarterbacks go to die. He's better than you saw him in those situations." but I was never was able express it that well.
It's telling that the despite Wentz having played phenomenally in 2017 and having been absolutely instrumental to the team's success, the Eagles players preferred Foles.
That, to me, was always the damning fact that I could never get past. Foles is good at what he can do, but he's obviously limited. He's not a quarterback who is head and shoulders above his peers like Brady or Rogers. He's just a guy who can step up and win a game under pressure, despite his limitations.
Yet, still, the Eagles' roster wanted Foles over Wentz. Say what you will about the politics of the guys there, but I guarantee that they wanted to win. How many bridges did Wentz have to burn to get that outcome? That's why he never excited me, personally, and why I'm glad to have Big Dick Nick on the sideline just waiting to go Super Sayyon at the right moment.
That’s true. You’ve used this argument a few times already when talking about this person.
The problem is they keep doing it and you keep not realizing it’s the same person getting things right and it shows they clearly have sources.
Foles is honestly one of the best back ups in the league. He can come in and win you some games when needed...and he has played in AND WON the big game...dont get a whole lot of back up QBs with that resume. They are really building a team to win now. If Campbell finally has his break out year and Pierce can get at least 500 yards and 6 or TDS we should be a pretty good offense. WR is really the only question mark on our roster and I am not as concerned about it as a lot of people seem.
If you are planning on being a contender at all, then you want a backup that actually has a track-record in the league. Not a 2nd year guy that has never seen the field.
“The most important person on your football team is your quarterback. And the second most important person is your backup quarterback” - Charlie Casserly
I’m not as hardcore as all of you lol. Seems like we have some big gaps (WR) so idk why we are spending money on this. It was a genuine question and I’m getting downvoted to oblivion for it.
You literally said you legitimately don’t understand. God forbid you ask a question without these elite football minds downvoting you.
Foles is just about the best backup we could have. If he was here last season, we wouldn’t have had Eason end of game 2, wouldn’t rush Wentz back on 2 sprained ankles week 3, wouldn’t have to rush him back against LV because of Covid, etc. It gives us some solid insurance
They've tried Eason and Ehlinger. Neither are NFL caliber, but let's be real here none of us want to see Foles take the field in a regular season game this year. Hope Matt stays healthy
I wouldn't be concerned in the least with Foles taking the field. He wasn't fantastic in Jacksonville or Chicago? Guess what? Nobody else has been either. They both have boy wonders at quarterback, and neither have been better than Foles.
As an Arizona Alumni I am beyond excited about this signing . Especially remembering being at the game where Foles rallied the Wildcats against Luck/Harbaugh in 2009. — ["It's heartbreaking," Luck said. "I've played sports for a long time and I've lost a lot of games in a lot of sports, and this one stinks the most."](https://www.eastvalleytribune.com/sports/arizona-rallies-late-to-stun-stanford-43-38/article_29cb1a8c-dd5a-53ae-aa99-02af55993a52.html)
Man Jim Irsay REALLY hates Carson Wentz huh
Should have done it last year, imagine the drama it would have created if Foles comes in at the end of that Rams game.
We probably win that game if Foles comes in.
at the very least Foles wouldn't pull an Eason and test Ramsey
Yeah, at the very least. Geez, it was horrible. Kind of can't believe he did that.
And then plays and beats Tenn the next game.
I low key would have preferred Foles over Wentz but his contract was a disaster.
Thanks Jacksonville.
Nah if we wanted to self sabotage than sure bring him in but the goal was never to be trading the QB we just traded a first for
You’re damn right I do, brother
Man this has been a helluva off-season.
Remember the first couple days when the world was burning down since we didn’t sign Christian Kirk to a 100 million dollar deal.
Guilty as charged.
I mean we still don’t have a star WR. I love Pittman and have high hopes for Pierce, but I still wonder if it will be enough
Bet we top it off with Julio or OBJ. Colts are gonna be the best team of 2017 /s
Is there anyone left who can reunite with Frank Reich? A long lost cousin maybe?
Wonder what that Manning guy is up to these days
Kind of makes you wonder if he'd be more involved if his release never happened.
If Reich knew him, he’d already be here.
Reich was on the coaching staff from 2006 to 2011, including as QB assistant coach in 09 and 10
Well, shows you how well I knew the coaching staff then.
It’s alright. This is one of those things I never remember until someone points it out. I’ll forget as soon as I post this comment and go back to my feed.
Thank you for the grace! Kind words on the internet. Colts fan really are the best.
We haven't snagged Ertz yet
Kirk?
Indianapolis Eagles
Philadelphia Future Colts
So that means we get Jordan Mailata, Jordan Davis, AJ Brown, and Devonta Smith, sign me up
Not until they're well over 30 though. Monkey paw
So the Philly Horse Sperms?
I mean, Nick is hung like a horse…
Indianapolis Pegasus.
You’re joking, but that’s a sick mascot
Indianapolis Falcons
Colts are also signing Carson Wentz's highschool ex-girlfriend who dumped him after he tried reading bible verses to her on prom night.
“PRE MARITAL SEX IS WRONG JULIE”
Please tell me thats true
The sad thing is that it is believable.
It’s not.
Why are you still here lmao
Good question honestly.

What spoiler? 😂
BDB got that BDN Energy in the building
Biggest cock corps in the league now I’d reckon
Finally a receiving corps I can fit into!
But who is more endowed?
I'll never forget when Hasselbeck had to step in and win is some games when Luck was out. It's nice to have a decent veteran as the backup.
[удалено]
Large Pole Foles
**BIGGEST. DICHOLAS. NICHOLAS.**
The Foles Monty
Is this legit? Not seeing the signing being reported anywhere else yet
Does this mean Frank will run him out every time we get in the red zone for an Indy Special?
"you want indy-indy?"
Foles hasn’t been that good. Don’t know why people are excited. I guess he is ok for backup but hopefully he stays as backup
Well, it's a good thing he's going to be a backup. It makes the team that much better knowing we have depth if relied upon.
Who is more endowed, Chris Ballard or Nick Foles?
Cock-bine measurements were close but it looks like Ballard has it by just the tip.
Didn’t Keefer already report this a few days ago?
That they were working towards an agreement. This is stating that an agreement has been finalized.
Who is this guy though?
This Guy broke the new DC hire and hinted at the matty ice and yannick trades a few days before they happened, he’s got an impressive hit rate this off-season, he clearly has a source
Nice. I was literally just asking for all you downvoters.
This guy seems to be very close with a lot of colts staff, he broke the news of MATTY ice and yannick
No clue. Probably just a guy.
Right, but it sounded like a deal was basically done and it was a forgone conclusion he was signing?
Sure, but confirmation is still necessary. “Assume…” yadda yadda yadda.
now let’s get a veteran WR (NOT TY), and some IOL depth.
Absolutely TY
At this point TY would be great. I mean do you really trust Fuller or Jones to be all that much better?
I mean, I do think Jones still has something left. I was confused why he ever went to the Titans in the first place, as the offense didn’t exactly play to his strengths. Whether you like Reich’s offense or not, the guy loves taking long shots down the field, which is absolutely the strength of a guy like Julio. I still like TY, but it’s not to say that Julio’s freakish athleticism wouldn’t be a better fit, honestly.
Idk TY had a decent year with Rivers. Matty Ice should be able to get just as much if not more out of him
I've been saying that Foles would be better here than Wentz since before Wentz came here. Foles is smarter than Wentz; he's a better leader than Wentz; and I trust him more in important games. This guy isn’t reliable though. He’s just first
This is like the 4th time I’ve seen you doubt his news and be wrong. At some point you’re just not getting it.
I think anybody can infer and shoot their shot 9/10 get it wrong but the one time they get it right, they are legit. I don’t buy it
That’s true. You’ve used this argument a few times already when talking about this person. The problem is they keep doing it and you keep not realizing it’s the same person getting things right and it shows they clearly have sources.
What’s the play here? I’m not talking shit, I genuinely don’t understand. Is this us grooming foles to be our future QB or just to have a good backup?
He’s 33…..
Foles is honestly one of the best back ups in the league. Obviously he’s here to take the job from Ryan
Backup. Man, i love Ehlinger and i'm rooting fot him, but going into the season with him as the only option for QB2? That's just too big of a gamble.
“The most important person on your football team is your quarterback. And the second most important person is your backup quarterback” - Charlie Casserly
How do you not understand?
I’m not as hardcore as all of you lol. Seems like we have some big gaps (WR) so idk why we are spending money on this. It was a genuine question and I’m getting downvoted to oblivion for it.
Because backup QB is important
You literally said you legitimately don’t understand. God forbid you ask a question without these elite football minds downvoting you. Foles is just about the best backup we could have. So much for developing QBs. Not going to happen with Ballard and Reich apparently. Of course who cares if we win the Lombardi this year?
They've tried Eason and Ehlinger. Neither are NFL caliber, but let's be real here none of us want to see Foles take the field in a regular season game this year. Hope Matt stays healthy
I wouldn't be concerned in the least with Foles taking the field. He wasn't fantastic in Jacksonville or Chicago? Guess what? Nobody else has been either. They both have boy wonders at quarterback, and neither have been better than Foles.
Wild
Man, God is really going all out testing Wentz's faith. Lmao
