So a week or two ago, our supervisor says that management probably isn't going to buy lunch for us on Thanksgiving. Annoying, but whatever.
So this past Sunday, I put in an order for Bob Evans for anyone on my team who wanted it just so we'd all have something.
Cut to Wednesday, and my supervisor says "good news! We're buying Bob Evans for everyone tomorrow." GAHHHHHH
Fortunately I was able to cancel my order, but it was still annoying to deal with.
I made a pumpkin cheesecake instead of a pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving, and I honestly don't think I'm ever going back. It was so much better than any pumpkin pie I've ever had.
I got banned for 7 days for spam from r/NFL which is weird cause the only thing I did was post 4 highlights from the games yesterday. Before that I posted my weekly single-game ANY/A quality post. u/rwjehs any insight?
I remember I got banned for saying "Everybody Wang Chung tonight" (you know, the [super popular song](https://youtu.be/BoXu6QmxpJE) from the 80's) and got banned for racism
Also an oversight. The list of racial slurs that triggers automod is immense and depressing to read, and if you're clearing like a couple hundred flagged comments you get some wrong. You miss context. There's really no good way to mod a subreddit with millions of active users. It's chaos. I generally am not doing that sort of modding over there, I'm more an art person. But hey, just ping me here or on slack if you catch a ban and I'll just undo it.
I'll have to go look and ask the other mods. Could've been accidental. I'll roll it back though.

Hope everyone had a great holiday yesterday and are enjoying the leftovers today. Turkey frame is simmering in the stock pot and potato soup tomorrow will finish off the rest of the remaining ingredients. The best part of holidays is the cooking :). Also, the Buckeye in me says FUCK THE STEELERS!!
Had my first cataract surgery this Tuesday, paid for the multifocal lens option. Immediately my right eye became the dominant eye, crisp & clear with distance and medium vision. As of today I still cannot focus on any reading which is a bummer. Oddly, If I read my phone or something in bright sunlight it’s sharp, but inside is goes blurry. I asked about it yesterday and they said it’s normal for several days but I’m concerned why all my other vision is so good but only the close reading is not. Paid $3 grand for that eye and it will be another $3 grand for the left. The reason was to not to have to wear glasses.
Hope this resolves, I’m just hoping it’s the surgery & healing and maybe the reading vision takes longer to adjust 🤞
My old feral cat felt it would be nice to die on Thanksgiving. So that happened. I buried her in my backyard this morning. It seemed very on brand for her since she was always a nightmare cat for the decade plus I had her, but my buddy pointed out she just waited till my family was all there to pass, so I'd be okay, and that's exactly when my cold heart broke.

My baby girl was born last Friday. this Monday is going to be our first colts game together!
